Comfort Apartments on Elizabeth

BEFORE travel, I was most concerned about the parking situation in downtown Melbourne. I sent a text to the property BEFORE travel, and they basically quoted the information I already had access to online (and that I quoted in my chat to them), without answering my question, which I then repeated, with no reply BEFORE arrival, as if handled by AI only. Upon our late night arrival, I asked the security guard who checked us in about parking, and he gave me an answer which I thought matched what I was told online (reasonable), but turned out later to be the wrong parking garage and the wrong price (double of what was quoted). It was only 2 days later that I was able to actually find someone staffing the proper check-in desk where I could get some answers. At that time, it was still only after I paid (quoted rate as promised) that I was told WHERE the parking was located. Very secretive! Of all of the encounters I ever had with service personnel in Melbourne, this was by far the worst and most rude. And this was a question I was worried about and had chatted to them via Expedia BEFORE travel, with no response! Also, the elevators in the property were under maintenance, and we had to take the stairs (4th floor) from time to time. Otherwise, the accommodation was OK.

Staff were good, attentive and available. Room was tired to say the least. Advertised as self contained yet no table to eat at , and only one chair. No bedside light .

Room was nice and clean, had everything we needed. Staff at check in were nice and the place was in a great spot and easy to find.

Clean room staff was excellent

The room and building were neglected. Very dirty rooms, broken dishwasher, tv remote did not work, unpleasant smelling lobby and lift areas. Unsatisfactory amount of kitchen utensils or coffee supplies. The noise was an issue it sounded like the windows were open.

Very dirty and run down. Stains on furniture, carpet and walls.

The room needed a deep clean. There was almost no cooking utensils. Bedding was below par. Location was close to public location and shopping centres.

Heart of cbd. Everything needed was provided. Very comfortable.

Entrance to check in was uphill and had a bump str8 inside the door that made my suircase over balance and i went down with it

Room smelt and didn't feel clean kitchenette was dirty. wouldn't use shower. Bed had clean sheets though. Un savoury characters hanging around front of apartments wasn't great

All was good for the facility. It was value for money and is conveniently situated close to Melbourne Central station.

Spacious apartment, clean, service desk receptionist lovely.

Room was clean, staff were quiet yet polite. Room amenities were not fully stocked. Comfortable beds BUT very noisy!

Clean room, comfy bed ,but no bedside light which is a must have.

Reasonably good spot, but the parking you can pay for through the hotel was WAAAY too far away. Relatively clean. Wouldn't suggest paying extra for an extra person on the sofa bed - it was old and saggy, meaning an average sleep.
