Unfortunately unit was not spotless but in tropical areas you expect roaches and small bugs. Hairs and sand left behind in room and not a tea bag to be found but got tea bags from reception and overlooked the other stuff. Our unit was minimally furnished with the bare essentials. Third floor unit so we got a good amount of exercise walking the stairs as no elevators. TV only worked with one channel. Pool appeared lovely and area was beautifully maintained. Right across street from Trinity Beach with easy access. Centrally located for both Cairns and Port Douglas and we enjoyed the scenic drives. Car is a necessity and they have underground parking. Reception was very helpful as we booked a room with two beds (mother and adult son traveling) but they put us in one room with queen bed. Got that sorted the second day as reception wasn’t available with late arrival. Used lock box to get our room keys. Very pleasant staff - helpful for advice on tours. Even with the small issues, I’d recommend it and would stay there again. Loved having washer and dryer and kitchen for an easy warm up of leftovers.

Coral Sands was incredibly beautiful! The rooms were spectacular, amenities were great and the location was great. Only disappointment was that you had to hire swimming towels and the office was shut by the time we got there so were unable to do this

Property was beautiful, perfect location, undercover parking, beach, shops, restaurants, buses all walking distance. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The property gardens and swimming pool are amazing!, my unit was nice, although it needs a few repairs such dishwasher, front door knob and shower, definitely shower needs to be replaced! And climbing the bathtub to get into shower is not safe, specially for the elderly. Apart from those, I had a wonderful time! Thank you , till next year!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Coral Sands Beachfront Resort in Trinity Beach, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The location is unbeatable—right on the beachfront and just steps away from fantastic restaurants like L'Unico Trattoria Italiano and Trinity Beach Tavern. Whether you're looking to relax or explore, Coral Sands is the perfect base. We loved the easy access to Cairns, the Great Barrier Reef, and nearby attractions like Kuranda and Hartley's Crocodile Adventures. Free Wi-Fi, secure parking, and thoughtful touches like blackout blinds and weekly linen service made the stay even more comfortable. It’s clear the resort is well-managed and maintained with care. Whether you're traveling as a couple, family, or solo, Coral Sands offers a peaceful, luxurious, and memorable tropical escape. We’ll definitely be back!

Clean, comfortable, very nice, top location, everything you need except it would be helpful to have more disposable items such as coffee, toilet paper etc

The shuttle service was excellent. John was waiting for us and was so helpful. Oue accommodation was perfect. Plenty of room, excellent kitchen and laundry. Direct access to the swimming pool. The resort staff were outstanding especially the maintenance man who was a jack of all trades.

Great resort. Would stay again.

Room wasn’t what I paid for. It felt dirty and cluttered

The apartment was excellent & in a fantastic position opposite the beach & very close to many restaurants. Our only problem was negotiating the stairs, particularly from the car park, as age has caught up with us.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I booked a 1 bed apartment which was very spacious, generously equipped in the kitchen with a lovely bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Everywhere was nice and clean, staff were friendly and helpful...especially with luggage and my apartment was on third floor and there isn't any lifts. Trinity Beach is a beautiful location and the resort is perfectly positioned for all amenities and just across the road from a stunning beach.

The hole complex was outstanding and walkung distance to everything.

Good location with great facilty

We stayed here recently for a family trip staying in a two bedroom apartment. The accomodation is pictureseque positioned directly opposite the beach. I'll start with the positives. The apartment was spacious equipped with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The surrounds were serene positioned directly opposite the beach. We even had a wallaby wander in most mornings hanging out below our balcony while we ate breakfast. Despite being a stone's throw away from bars and restaurants, it's quiet. There is a small independent grocery store across the road which was very convenient. The rooms are spacious and the beds were comfortable. The pool is amazing. Only a few negatives. Some surfaces in the rooms were really dusty. The parking instructions were confusing. There's no signage on street or above the basement carparks. There's also no instruction about which space to park in, we had to wing it and hope for the best. A chair in our dining room had a faulty leg. Luckily my elderly mother noticed it before sitting down and notified staff. They didn't remove it or replace it which was concerning. Our water jug had a crack in it which we didn't notice until it flooded our fridge. We didn't check in until late at night, so the staff had plenty of time to check these were in working order before we arrived. Despite these inconveniences, I still highly recommend staying here.
