Empire Hotel Goulburn

We were in room 3 and it felt like the whole room was shaking and thumping to the beat of the DJ’s extremely loud music. The supplied earplugs were very much needed but then I could still feel the whole bed thumping and venting beating to the music. I feel asleep ok thanks to the earplugs but if you can’t wear earplugs I would avoid this hotel.

This was a basic accommodation. Load music in the bar downstairs started about 10pm on Friday and Saturday. They did provide ear plugs

Good value for money. Very clean. Towels fantastic. Beds great size but aging will need replacing soon

Great value but would have liked to be told about the music that started at 10.30 pm- reason we stayed was to get a good night sleep before a big event in Sydney. Ear plugs on pillows were a welcome audition

Noise, posing as music, both nights 10-2.30. Ever tried to sleep inside a boom box at full volume? No warning when booking , only later when ready to arrive and no alternative.

Aging property in the hotel but cheap convenient and clean. Worth it for. Aa budget stay. Pub is probably too loud for families but for single traveler who doesn’t mind it was ideal. Staff were great and its clean large room. (But needs some maintenance)

Unfortunately, my own fault but i left my coat there....3 days of correspondence, no care factor, i just asked for them to check cameras incase staff maybe put it somewhere safe... too many calls with no reply.... it's not there fault i left it there, but disappointed in lack of response

Terrible. We had no choice but to check in even though the last said a DJ was coming and playing till 3am. But they supplied earplugs ( which did nothing because it was so loud my bed was vibrating). I would have stayed somewhere else but we had passed the cancellation period and were charged anyway. Was aweful. Only for 4 hts sleep

Look good hotel with showers

This was a great convenient, safe and clean.

On arrival they didn't have my booking at the fault of Expedia, DJ played till 3am both nights, should have realised something was up when they supply ear plugs on your pillow, woken during one night and evacuated by firefighters due to someone smoking/vaping in their room. Room itself was ok for the price.

No microwave, noisy room near back door. Asked to move but told was full. But only one other room occupied.
