Great basecamp for blue mountain hikes, loved the history and feel of this place. All staff really nice

Nice, clean, well-maintained room with bathroom right on the highway but not at all noisy. Bar downstairs had live music on a Sunday evening and staff were good.

Loved the bar, the sports bar, the bistro, the staff, the ambiance. Less impressed with the room (family deluxe) which was like a shoe box, and beds with hard lumpy pillows. We were hot on the first night, with no ability to adjust the air. That said, I would return to Gardners Inn. The pluses outweigh the minuses.
