Imperial Hotel Coonabarabran

Had a good room room 35 and away from the front rooms facing all night truck traffic. However there is a window above the door that is not covered by a blind. So the corridor light can flick on and wake you at any time over the night. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE WINDOW OVER THE DOOR FACING THE CORRIDOR. ALSO THE SHEETS AND CASES WERE NOT REPLACED FROM MY BOOKING IN THAT ROOM THE PREVIOUS NIGHT.

Just what was needed after 8hrs on the road. Nothing flash but comfortable and shower was hot.

The ensuite was good, very spacious same with the bathroom spacious and clean.

The bistro took 40 minutes to serve my entree. The entree came with the main meal.

Only thing wrong no power point in our ensuite but other than that food excellent every else fine

Fairly basic accommodation but well priced

Broken vanity in room, when sitting on bed i hit the floor, dirty everything, bathrooms appalling

The pub was okay, food was good. Easy to find. No hot water for the shower.

Great location, great food and bar service. Room was average poorly appointed. Good shared bathroom facilities.Truck noise is tolerable. Excellent bakery opposite for morning coffee, sandwiches and cakes.

A beautiful old pub. Clean and tidy with a great bistro.

Booking online was simple. The place is easy to find. Parking is in the main st in front of pub. The oub has been refurbished. All facilities were available if not in the room it was in the common areas. I heard no noise from downstairs or people walking down passageway. The shower was good. It had a through wall AC unit which was noisy. I upgraded from a queen bed room with shared showers to a room with an ensuite. The manager charged me $40 for the upgrade when if I'd completed it online it would have been $20. I only used plastic cards in the pub so i didnt need to check my change with each beer or dinner. The food was ok and it appears many people come in to eat there. Id recommend you book online to stay there.

First time staying in a hotel above a pub. Has great history and beautiful building. We would definitely stay again!

No internet (even though the booking said there was). No elevator - all rooms upstairs. Shared kitchen (could use a cleaning).

The staff were lovely. I loved the old Hotel I felt safe and welcomed. I would have prefered my room to have its own bathroom but I had a wonderful stay and will be back 😀

We were really disappointed with our stay. While the room was large and had an ensuite with shower and toilet, there were a number of reasons why we wouldn't stay here again. The beds were very old and overused. The sheets appeared dirty and it felt as though they had not been cleaned from the previous guest (blood on one sheet). We purchased sheets from Woolworths for the kids beds. The water in the shower was almost cold. The air conditioner and wall heater were both tagged as failed. TV remote was faulty.
