The early arrivals lounge with snacks, comfy chairs and couches, and showers was much appreciated after more than 24 hours of travel. Location was perfect - easy walks to Royal Botanical Garden, the opera house, and Circular Quay.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the exceptional staff at the reception desk, particularly Chris, for the delightful room upgrade in honor of my birthday. Furthermore, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of champagne and a heartfelt birthday card awaiting us in our room, a thoughtful gesture from the hotel team. My sister and I were absolutely thrilled with our room, which offered a stunning view of the Harbour Bridge. The amenities and overall service were impeccable. We could not have asked for a more perfect experience and we certainly hope to return for another stay in the future.

Fantastic hotel just steps from the Opera House and transport! Comfortable beds, amazing rooftop pool on the 31st floor, great amenities, and an excellent breakfast with lots of variety. Perfect stay in the heart of Sydney!

Fantastic hotel in an ideal location for travelers. Our flight arrived early, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and professional—truly made us feel at home. We loved everything about our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to choose Intercontinental again!

A very successful refurbishment project has brought this ideally located hotel right up to speed with its Sydney peers. Service is efficient and friendly. The views are stunning, especially those from the Aster cocktail bar.
