So dusty and no reception

an overnight stay, very comfortable and liked the new tiled shower/bathroom

Pool shouldnt be advertised thats a joke. Keep your shoes on dirty carpet. Smoke alarm pulled out. Lock on door wouldnt keep anyone out. False advertising.

Lots of noise from trucks passing overnight. Meal in the pub was interesting- no vegetarian option except mashed Potato and Frozen veggies.

Big, clean, lovely staff and everything I needed. Would happily stay again.

Nothing fancy, that’s for sure, but clean, and the gent at reception was great. Knew the area, friendly, easy to deal with. I’d stay there again.

The room was very clean and comfortable but it was very disappointing to find that the advertised pool was full of reeds, so basically a swamp. Hotels.com really needs to update the information about this motel on their site. It is interesting to follow the information on both Ned Kelly and Sir John Monash.

Check in was unpleasant, the man on the desk was obviously annoyed when asked about the pool and how breakfast would be served in the morning. Apparently the pool had not been in service for over 2years, very disappointing as we only booked this accommodation for what appeared to be a lovely covered pool and they had never served breakfast. The disappointment continued when using the shower. There were pubic hairs and what I’m calling blood smeared on the tiles. The room was tidy, but dirty. The spare pillow had hairs on it, the towels were stained and yellowing, the chairs were grotty and container that stored the dirty crockery was filthy. The semi full size fridge was a welcome surprise, the curtains were very affective in blocking the light and the air conditioning was effective.

Clean and good amenities. TV channels all not available.

Very comfy bed, clean room and friendly staff. Everything we needed for a one night stopover.

Felt unsafe staying here no chain on door. Very noisy trucks going past all night. Price was excessive for a basic room. Towels where grey not white

The check in man was very helpful and went out of his way to assist us. the room was clean and tidy, good parking and quiet. The motel was close to historic areas.

It was a convenient, nice place with plenty of parking. And reasonably quiet. And walking distance to everything. We had a bit of an issue with the door lock as it kept sticking and we couldn't enter the room but eventually after some jiggling and turning we got in. Also due to a storm we lost the tv reception which didn't come back.

On a busy highway but very little noise. Nice bed and amenities.

The newly renovated shower and a comfy couch in the room to waych tv. Excellent price.
