Katoomba Town Centre Motel

The room was very clean and tidy. The room I stayed in had a queen bed and a single so would suit a small family. Or you can use the single bed as a bit of a luggage store. It had a cupboard and another space for luggage and a small table and chairs where you may sit for a meal. Microwave and fridge included and of course a basic bathroom. While the property is dated it is well maintained and has everything you would need for a short stay. What I did like about it was the proximity to the main street and it was very close to supermarkets. If you are wanting to visit the three sisters, then it is no more than two minutes drive from this motel.

Staff was wonderful! Although Hotels.com’s description of the room was a “2 bedroom” (traveling with niece) it really wasn’t. The staff was very accommodating when I needed to book an additional room for my niece.

The location is excellent. Check in is down the driveway, behind another hotel. Room was spacious, beds are comfortable. Only real complaint is that the bbq didn’t work. I booked this place so that we had a place to cook meals. The room only has a microwave and kettle. I would be happy to stay here again if they fix the bbq. On the plus side, it is right across from Pho Moi (loved the place, get there early)

The room was spotless love the space

The rooms are outdated and require repair, our shower wall in the kitchen side had paint that was coming off the wall, curtains did not block out light, general overall condition of rooms needs to be improved. Staff were good with helping with breakfast and where to eat, late arrival was sorted quickly, helpful with where to go and what to do, just the room needs sorting.

This was a great location for our touring family. They were very helpful when we called to request a main floor room because of mobility issues. We arrived late and checked out relatively early so didn't get a chance to interact with front desk very much. We did not expect daily housekeeping so left some dirty dishes to address after our day out but when we got back, the dishes had been washed, dried and put away to our surprise! Place is older but clean and a great base for daily adventures in the area. Great location near grocery shops so we had options for microwave food when we didn't want to eat out.

Our room was a bit old and tired. AC was so loud we couldn't have it on during the night. Missing tile and black mould in the bathroom. No toaster. Bed was OK and the staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was made every day and dishes were done. Good location, close to the town center, supermarket and bus stop. you can walk to Echo Point and Scenic World. Needed last minute accommodation. Good value for the price we paid.

Conveniently located within walking distance of train station shops and restaurants. Comfortable bed and room had all amenities including microwave and toaster.
