Outstanding accommodation if you don't mind a shared bathroom. That said, the bathrooms, male and female, were spacious and super clean with individual, lockable cubicles for privacy.
Bedrooms are also spacious with extremely comfortable beds. Breakfast is provided and choice of continental or hot breakfast cooked to your order.
The hosts could not have been more pleasant or helpful. We arrived very late at night and our rooms were ready and waiting with the keys inside and the heaters on to make them toasty warm on a cold night!
For a budget conscientious family or individuals, you can't go past the Kookaburra Ski Inn at Jindabyne!

Such a great place to stay. Minutes walking to Nuggets complex for Woolworths and restaurants. Great to be able to use the lounge to sit by the fire place and byo dinner. Definitely would stay again.

The staff were great when we arrived. Helpful and cheerful and informative.
Then we had an emergency with our teenagers and needed an extra room on the spot. They moved things around and we were able to get the kids a room.

This place was terrible. I checked out after 40 mins - nothing in the room but a bed, place looked like a cell. One of the owners was revving his motorbike in the carpark trying to impress a bunch of middle-aged bikers when I arrived - which pretty much sets the tone for the rest of it. The ‘complimentary earplugs’ were a canary in the coal mine and if the drunken fights between the 18 year old clientele were anything to go by, I reckon I’d of needed them. Waste of money.

After of hearing of this lodge 5 years ago, we we’re finally able to find a vacancy here which matched our travel plans and there’s good reason it’s so popular. The owners are very friendly and extremely helpful. Their attention to detail, and cleanliness is evident throughout their unique facility. We were so impressed we booked again this week for our return journey. Highly recommend.
