Lakeside Inn Illawarra

We stayed in the family room with a family of 5 - it was an odd design: bathroom basin was outside the bathroom, the single bed was too close to the bathroom door blocking the entrance, bath drain plug leaks so taking a bath meant having to top up the water all the time, TV was located nicely on the wall but no where to sit down in front of it to watch it as it was missing a couch. The floor was also a bit dusty. Walking around barefeet you realise you are collecting all the dust on your feet. Having said all that, the room was modern, bedding was very comfortable, the room was spacious & quiet, check in and check out was seemless and friendly. I'd be happy to return if we passed by the area again

The bedding was comfortable and clean. The bathroom and shower was in quite poor condition. The staff were lovely, and while the condition of the bathroom could've been better, it was comfortable and we slept well.

Clean, well looked after place

The room and the service of the staff was perfect. The price is good for the type of room I stayed in. I would stay there again without hesitation.

The staff very friendly room ready on arrival and I love parking outside my room.

ALL GOOD

There was no one available for our check in at 1330. We had to wait. There was no cleaning equipment in the room so we couldn't do any basic house work. There was no where to walk in the park as there were restricted signs around all the accommodation some of which appeared to be permanent. The smart TV control did not work all the time and the TV kept freezing up. The TV setup and time was completely out of synch. The air-conditioning system kept rattling all night disturbing our sleep. There was continual banging from other rooms nearby possibly maintenance or other residents. Other than that it was great.

Room was clean and what we wanted. It had plenty of room kitchen facilities and bathroom amenities. Aircon that worked well. The staff were helpful and polite.

Wonderful space with all the basics. Good size tv and super comfy bed, quality linen and fluffy towels. Friendly service and yummy pizza at in house restaurant.

Room was clean and tidy and perfect for oyr stay! Do not park under the tree as I think bats pood all over my brand mew car! Other than that it was a lovely stay! Doggo was happy too

great location, great place to say, would love to revisit and stay longer just to enjoy the accommodation.

Not what we expected, photos look better than the actual. Shower head unusable sprayed out over end of bath. Bath plug continued leaking so kids had short baths before water was gone. No freezer for ice. Hand basin has double job as the sink to wash dishes. Windows were filthy. I thought I booked a cabin on the water but that wasn’t the case either. Beds were okay that is probably the only good thing I’d say about it. Toilet roll holder hanging down so chasing toilet rolls everywhere. They could do so much better Starting with cleaning and maintenance

Basic room, late checkin took longer as they gave me the wrong code.

Everything works fine great place to stay right infront if the lake only steps away

Great location

Place was small tidy enough but aged and worn. We didn’t get the lakeside cabin I booked. But for a low budget quick option it was okay.
