Great property. On the edge of CBD so super easy access and quieter. However placed right by a tram stop which is 2 minutes to the heart of surfers.

The pool was at a good temperature and refreshing, light rail was at your door with station stop at the rear of the property which allow ease public transport.

The rooms for clean nice and comfortable I found the only problem was there was no restaurant at night only breakfast in the morning and the bar wasn't open all day only for two hours in afternoon

The place is a bit dated but it is definitely good value for money! Not super central but well located nonetheless. Can’t beat the tram stop located at the doorstep with 50-cent fares and open loop payment. Staff was nice and pools were fun and family friendly.

We would have like to have been told we could ask for fresh towels using wet towels for four days was poor

Had a king room, which was room "B"of a dual key room. The room was ok, but bedside table and bathroom vanity are delaminating, rusty metal chair in corner and need to put a blind down in bathroom due to clear windows. Noise from either adjacent room or above with water use, unsure if toilet or sink washing machine could be heard in room as distinct water hammmer , unsure what was going on but very noisy. Road noise was load and unable to open verandah etc. Have stayed in the apartments here, but the setup for king hotel room and noise from "A" apartment in dual key

Amazing long weekend. Great location you can park with no need to drive, near tram and bus, short walk to beach and Cavil Av. Facilities are great, pools, bar and Restuarant we barely left. Staff were very friendly and everything was clean. We will definitely be going back perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Disappointed how old and overpriced this resort is, comparing it to all the other Mantras in the area, I was very disappointed however the slides and pool was fun for the kids.

When we got there the receptionist was on there break so we couldn’t get in to the building. Then we had to pay $20 per day extra for parking and when we booked the description said parking not that you had to pay for it. For the first four days the whole way from the left to our room was so smelly they only came in once to change the bedsheets in two weeks. They came in on the third day that we were there and then we had to ask for them to have someone come in and change the sheets as it was hot and it’s pretty filthy to be in the same sheets for 10 days besides that the room was a good size. One of the receptionist was extremely helpful. The rest of them were very average.

The property was dated and room we stayed in needs a freshen up. The staff were fantastic, pool areas great. Having the tram literally outside the door was good. We would happily stay here again

The hotel facilities are great but the room was very old (but clean) and there is a terrible smell in the halls, worse at different times but always present. Bed was comfortable.
Cleaners did a great job to room but a clean is only done at half way through your stay and only if you have a longer stay or there’s no clean. No daily room clean had the room feeling a little dirty to live in with sand, old sheets and towels etc but I must have missed that detail when booking.
Parking was very easy and the location is good if you don’t want to be in the main area but only a short walk away. The beach is close by. The tram is outside the hotel gate which is great and theres a convenience store only a small walk away.

Kitchen needs serious cleaning and perhaps new appliances and cupboards - spotted 2 cockroaches
Cupboards have bad odours
Bathroom tile looks like third world country’s tile
All rooms needs new furnitures
I think the owner needs to be considerate when supplying laundry powder and dish washer powder - amount provided will barely take you through 1 wash so please buy your own dishwasher tablets and laundry powder and take some hand towels as they only provide 1. Also forget about using the dish drying rack as it has moulds all over. Lounge and cushions needs serious washing/refreshing as they look sad and stinks.
