The room was well equipped but sadly the view was an internal courtyard. Natural light was not very good!

The apartments are really new, equipped with all amenities including slippers. The rooms are spacious. Highly recommended. If you want a view, make sure u book a room with a view as not all rooms have a view.

I recently stayed at Meriton Suites Canberra and, while the hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and in a great location, unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the amenities like the pool and gym were quite nice. However, during my stay, the sauna was out of order, which was a letdown. I also found the cleanliness of the room below expectations — there were noticeable finger marks on the windows and hair left in the sink, which really shouldn't happen at this level of accommodation. One of the biggest drawbacks was the service. I found the staff to be uninformed and unhelpful, and it made the experience feel far less welcoming. Good service can make or break a hotel stay, and sadly, it left a sour taste, to the point that I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Additionally, the parking was quite expensive for Canberra, and for the price paid, I expected a much higher standard across all areas. Overall, while the hotel looks the part, the poor service and lack of attention to detail made it a disappointing stay.

We arrived at 4.30pm to be to be told our room wasn’t ready (check in was 3pm) and would be another 30 mins and they would call us as soon as it was ready. 1 and a half hours later I enquire and apparently it was “only just ready” even though they had time to put our luggage in the room, Also, not enough parking onsite so had to park a block away which is abit inconvenient. Location and rooms are great though.

Beds really comfortable. Could of used some carpet around the lift area, very noisy in the morning, a couple of face washers would go astray aswell.

Reception staff helpful and efficent. Unable to use the dishwasher as there was water accumulated (blocked drain) on the bottom of the dishwasher. Location of accommodation in central Canberra and within walking distance of shops and public transport.

The room faced a construction site, and there was no notice provided at the time of booking. Had I known this, I would have chosen a different property.

The only thing we didn’t like was no parking at the property

This was an excellemt hotel, great amenities, room had everything we could need. Staff were wonderful. However, triple sheeting bedding technique made our sleep suboptimal and led to us coming into contact with nude doona... our room was also internally facing so had no natural light, this might be suitable for business travellers but was not ideal for us.

Apartment seemed brand new. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Laundry appliances in the apartment. Overall, a perfect experience. Would definitely book again.
