The apartment was not clean and this was the case in all rooms, after seeing the filthy kitchen cooking appliances microwave and little electric oven that sits on top of the microwave I decided this is unacceptable and even more unacceptable for the price it was for the two days I was there . The pool is fantastic. The property is central and good walking distance to cafes and parks. Parking was great.
Cons
The apartment was completely outdated and felt like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time. The floors were filthy, the shower was covered in black mould (I had to wear flip-flops to use it), and the coffee table was broken and dangerous. Even the clothes hoist was broken.
The bedroom had makeshift curtains that blocked us from opening the window, meaning there was no air flow at all. We also called ahead to check if BBQs were available and were told yes, but when we went to use them, they didn’t work.
Overall, the apartment we stayed in desperately needs a full update and refurbishment. In its current condition, it’s absolutely not worth the price being charged.
In saying that, we had friends staying in another apartment & their apartment was clean & everything seemed to be in orderly working condition.
