It was an overnight stay, but we were impressed with the motel, other than the fact the reception was not manned and gaining access to our room was difficult as it had to be done over the phone and access was achieved by codes, as was the room.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Great recommendations and milk for tea when we arrived.the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Great stay, highly recommend.

We were surprised to discover this motel, with great location, clean functioning facilities, walking distance to local shops and cameras all around so that we can leave all stuff in the car instead of shifting them to the room. Definitely will be back next time.

Only thing l was not happy about.
After being evacuated from the building at 1.10 am after being allowed to return we were given no explanation why we were evacuated. Even front desk staff that morning had no idea the event had even occured.

It's a pleasant little Hotel with about 15 rooms with parking outside & a pool. Appeals to be family run & there's a Pub next-door with a bistro. If passing through Hay again, I woul most likely stay there again.

Stayed here many times but the cockroach in the bathroom was a bit of a downer, not really the motels fault, couldn’t use the pool as there were 10 kids in there for hours yelling and screaming it was very hot during our stay but aircon worked ok.

It's a Motel, it did It's job, it was Clean comfortable, well located with a pub bistro next door. One good thingcis that it has a proper shower screen not your usual shower curtain & parking is right outside your door.

Loved that the bathroom had been totally refurbished and looked inviting. Single story dwelling and with dining options 2 doors down we were happy to walk and have dinner.
