Nightcap at Chardons Corner Hotel

The rooms were extremely clean and well kept. The bathrooms were huge and spacious with all amenities. Would love to stay here again.

We had 3 rooms for the 3 brothers staying, Friday, Sat and Sunday nights. We were not aware or not told at check that on Friday nights they have bands downs stairs (rooms 11 to 16 are above the auditorium). So coming back at 9pm there was noise and especially reverberations (unbelievable) in two of my brother's rooms, 11 and 16. My room no 3 was OK. Otherwise the rooms were well sound proofed but not from a Black Sabbath tribute band from below. The rooms otherwise were good value for money. Above the pub next to a main road with plenty of buses heading to the city. Some basic maintenance issues, like a robe hook on the bathroom door about to fall off, hot water taps in the showers falling off detract from well cleaned, well presented, good sized rooms. Beware, there a no lifts. We had to flights or stairs from the car park and the reception is staffed overnight. I did email management about the noise of the bands and they happily refunded the two rooms costs for the Friday night. Beware Friday nights if you have come for peace and quiet.

It was clean and comfortable. Not great for someone with a disability as there are lots of stairs from the carpark. There is another entrance from the street but not convenient for a disabled person. Otherwise great.

Very lovely place, I'm going to say 'for a pub room'. The facilities and service are above average. Awesome staff, very helpful and lovely. Such a nice place :)

The room was clean with enough facilities. There are many stairs and when I asked the staff to send lunch as a room service to room for my 14 year old son, they refused because he was younger than 18. To go to the room, you should pass the bar/small casino like area. Not suitable for families.

Quite amazed at this venue. The outside and entry is very ordinary, but the rooms and degree of comfort is amazing. Also an excellent Vietnamese restaurant right next door.

Room was nicely set up and clean

The hotel sits on the 2nd floor. The first floor combines a gaming house on one side with a night club on the other. There are no elevators to the hotel. Also, the parking is open so one shouldn't leave anything of value in their vehicles overnight. The rooms themselves were nice and despite the night club going full bore, it was relatively quiet in the room. I ended up being double charged for the room but it was quickly rectified.
