Nightcap at Sandbelt Hotel

It was very loud as our room was right next to the hot water system and it was very noisy over night

Really friendly staff. Everyone was welcoming and helpful.

Staff were great. Discount at the bistro was handy. Bathroom was modern. Bed was comfortable. Room and bed were too hot to sleep comfortably at night, even with the (noisy) air conditioner running all night.

Nice, beds, looks like recently renovated. Shower great, air conditioning great. Everything we needed we a few little complimentary items. Would definitely stay again

Downside,shower kept going hot and then cold.

Parking was handy. Rooms were what we expected, bathroom was exceptional. Receptionist was brilliant.

Room was clean tidy and cosy.

Car park is good easy go in rest bed is great comfortable and shower great

Excellent daily room service with lots of extras included! Bathroom was brand new and there was heaps of room in the room and lounge room. Great convention oven in the kitchen.

The room was not as advertised at all. The heater did not work so we were literally freezing and got quite sick. Told management who offered to move us to a “blocked off room that had no hot water” and declined this obviously. Our room also didn’t have great hot water and without heat didn’t want to lose what little we had. Was given dinner in the restaurant the second night whilst they tried to fix the heater but ended up with dodgy chicken so beside freezing we now had mild food poisoning. Got moved to another room, without any help to pack up and relocate to a room which was the furthest one away. This room also had a non working heater! With no other option as we were getting sicker and still had another night asked to be refunded and told to contact the booking agent who spoke to the hotel. Long story but both sides said the other wouldn’t authorise the refund and was even told heating and hot water are not guaranteed amenities despite being legally essential services. The hotel checked other rooms and barely any were working and this weekend was icy cold. Ended up having to leave and find another hotel and be ever more out of pocket but couldn’t risk getting sicker. Disappointed no refunds were given when a full night was not used due to them not having any heat in the room and they know it wasn’t working and it was freezing!!!

Basic but everything is new and clean, Good Bathroom, and love a king bed
