Came up to Brisbane from Sydney for a family emergency. From booking to arrival and stay everything was wonderful. Oaks is a consistent brand and you know you’re going to get a good clean room every time

3 adults stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 1 night. We were very very impressed with the unit overall. Only one concern we had was the ceiling fans and air cons in both bedrooms were operated by wall panel and no instruction how to use. We are due to stay again next week but will be asking for instruction booklet this time.

Room dark and dingy, no internet and staff could not help with getting the internet up and running. The tv had poor connectivity and would regularly drop out. Staff didn’t care and just fobbed my concerns off.
Room was serviced but they missed making the bed and leaving bath mats. Just sloppy and heartless place to stay. Close to hospital which was good. Wont stay again

There was a list of items in the room that was an issue.
Couldnt connect to internet when arrived, no hand soap, one remote batteries were dead, one bathroom had mould in it and the other had air everywhere.
The bathtub switch was stuck in place and couldnt be used.
Soap depenser in shower fell off wall.
On check in had to wait 30 mins after check in time to get into room and staff seem not to know what they are doing.

Noisy people in the area between the towers. Couldn't sleeep in second bedroom as it had a window to main corridor and light was on all night.
Shower dirty and needed a scrub.

However apartment needs a lot of work as it is old and run down. Ensuite shower hand held was terrible.
Beds comfortable, lounge ok outside balcony very limited, unkept and grotty.

A lovely property close to RBWH which was our reason for staying. $29 per night for parking is disappointing given the price per room is higher than other local properties, but still the convenience of location outweighs this.

I was very surprised to have to pay an extra $29 for car parking on top of hotel costs … i have heard that car parking was free for people with medical appnts at hospital . The WIFI was not working and was told to call IT to fix for me. Very poor service. Our television in bedroom had no remote so could not even turn television on
