I was only there for one night, but when I checked out the next morning, the lovely staff allowed me to stay a little longer, so I got to sit by the pool and read my book, have a cuppa and enjoy the quiet time before heading home. It was very much appreciated. I also was travelling on my own, so they took care that I was close to reception. Thanks for the little breakaway.

Great experience! Great for family with children with spacious rooms. We had heaps of fun with the facilities around and will definitely be back on our next visits!

What a great place to stay, and at a reasonable price. We had a lovely stay, enjoyed the pool area, and had dinner at the restaurant at the resort—it was all top notch. Wouldn't hesitate booking here again next time our travels take us to the Coffs Harbour area.

Opal Cove is a nice resort but a bit tired. Lots of things were not functioning when we were there (the spa, the sauna, treadmills in the gym).
We had 'happy hour' cocktails that were not terribly good and complaining wasn't an option (fell on dead ears). I used the EV charging station but again, service was terrible and the woman on reception didn't listen to me.
Overall the stay was okay but customer service is poor - staff don't listen and just go into repeating the same sentence word for word until the customer goes away. Check out is 10am and we got a knock on the door at 10am prompt telling us the room was to be cleaned - despite asking the front desk for 10 mins more. We didn't feel welcome.
