Room spotless and staff were great but the bed was supposed to be a king it was 2 singles together and they were so soft felt like they were yearsvold

Beautiful corner room with view of the lake and garden. We loved the water dragons on nearby lawn, very neat to see them hanging out. Staff were lovely. Walking distance to amenities across the street (eg McDs, chemist). Restaurant was great- shared a steak and bottle of wine. Pool and hot tub were great. No concerns.

Exceptional location and awesome views

Two pairs of swimmers were discoloured from having a spa Sunday early evening and the smell of chlorine stuck on the skin even after a shower. We saw the pool being tested in this morning but not the hot tub / spa.

Room was clean but average. Staff on reception and grounds, helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider coming back! Check-in was quick and efficient — Georgia at reception was lovely, welcoming us warmly and getting us settled in straight away. Our Waterview room was on the ground floor, with direct access to the pool and spa, and beautiful views. We even had a few friendly lizard visitors on our back porch! The room itself was spacious and perfect for our family of four, with a comfortable queen/king bed and two singles for the children. A lovely touch was the personalised birthday note and complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived — such a thoughtful gesture. The hotel overall was very clean, the staff friendly, and the facilities great. One small point of confusion — the listing mentioned access to a gym, but there wasn’t one on the premises (only nearby access, which could be clearer in the description). Breakfast was simple but sufficient — your typical basics and not too busy, which made it a relaxed start to the morning. The biggest downside for us was the EV charging situation. We specifically chose this hotel because it advertised EV chargers, but unfortunately, neither charger worked with our car, and the spots were often occupied by non-electric vehicles. It meant we had to seek out other charging stations during our stay, which was inconvenient after driving up from Sydney. The location is fantastic — walking distance to port, restaurants, shopping centre across the road.

We had a great stay at the resort in Port Macquarie. The facilities were excellent, staff are great and our room with a water view was lovely. The only downside was breakfast – a bit expensive for what was offered, and only feels reasonable value if it’s included in the room price. Will definitely be back to stay again.

Liked our room, the view, location, pool. Suggest they clean the tile floors in the Sunset restaurant. They need a Gerni.

The staff at reception and particularly breakfast service were fantastic.

Fantastic hotel Wounderful

We loved the Water Dragons, visited us having our morning coffee and lounging around the spa this morning. The restaurant was excellent for both an evening dinner and buffet Breakfast. Great sized room and space for families also.
