Sorell Barracks

What a fantastic, quaint place! Genuinely old, rather than retro, but very nice and quiet and comfy. Wifi is on the weak side, and there's no real kitchen Otherwise, great!!

This cozy apartment was quiet, easy to find, and located in a safe area. It had everything I needed and a comfortable bed. I would gladly stay here again

It is the most cutest place to stay, I would definitely stay here again, even though my husband is 6”4 It was amusing watching him get around. I loved everything about this place.

Loved the set up and facilities. But the stairs were not safe for me.

The rooms were immaculate . Beautiful and warm due to the thick walls . Gorgeous period fit out . Couldn’t ask for anything more comfortable . 10 out of 10 easily . Amazing .

Gorgeous little loft clean cozy we where so happy with this place . Wished we had found it earlier in our trip. So near the airport felt privileged to stay in such a historic building, nice renovation gave us lots of ideas for our future renos. Would go back in a minute. Owners have put a lot of thought into their guests' comfort Thankyou made our last day such a pleasure.

Just fantastic! In awe of the history! Loved the cosines- i fully understand the meaning of that word. Cannot rate this place highly enough. Just putting it out there, has anyone else seen the man? I was outside and saw a man wakk right in front of the windows to the corner where he turned and left.

Well located to explore Sorrell and historical quiet and comfy place

Such a cute space with an interesting history! Terry and Lynn were very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family visiting Tassie.

The Sorell Barracks' Garden Shed which i stayed in for a night was well equipped, comfortable, secure and warm. The 4 poster double bed was charming. The TV reception was good. The heater worked. The kitchenette was well equipped. There was plenty of hot water for the shower. The front door key was in a key safe on the door, the code to which was txted to me on the day of arrival. I never did see or hear the owners / managers, which felt a bit odd, but I'm sure they were contactable had I needed to. I'd happily stay again, and can recommend the place to all who look for accommodation that is not absolutely stereotypical.

Beautiful cottage

Cosy little accommodation with history and and style and being welcoming and comfy too. The owners were kind Enough & easy to communicate with and let us check in our luggage early which we greatly appreciated..

Just a wonderful experience to live here. We loved the history of this home and returning here is a must . A big thank-you for a nice place to stay .

What a treat of a find in Sorell. Comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. And such a rich history.

Bathroom towels were not fresh smelling. Advertised as a B&B but did not provide breakfast.

Lovely quaint cottage

The history of the place and the authentic way it has been maintained and presented. A wonderful place to stay.

This was a great historic building which also contained a lovely garden. There was a small kitchenette and a separate sleeping area No actual contact was made with owners but messages sent through Hotels.com. The condition of the building needed work. I know it was an historic building but it needed decoration and maintenance. Windows would not open properly and some curtains kept falling down. Above all it needed a deep clean- the furnishings and carpets were dusty and dirty.
