Smooth check in and lovely room with comfy bed excellent value for money it would be good if the hotel could provide some free water

Comfortable Bed and Room. I am unsure how to be objective. It was extremely frustrating stay in many areas. The person who signed me in, did not tell me how to get into the hotel parking. This hotel has people who live in the hotel as well. When I got back to my car I had signs on the car, like FFS. Parking for them is in a separate area which they do not inform you of. If anyone is staying in this hotel, you need to park in the yellow carpark, the entry is on the main road before the actual hotel on the street. They also didn't tell me how to access the hotel parking which has a gigantic roller door. You need to press a bell, every single time. Now the room I stayed in was spacious, the bed comfortable and it was one bed and not two which I very much enjoyed, it was a king bed. It had a balcony and really high roof. The bathroom was spacious and it had a little kitchenette. The only down side to the room, was the bathroom pipes stunk and it smelt bad when you came back to the room. They really need to resolve the pipe issue. The sheets had stains on them, it was pretty gross some was blood. They also didn't have a price list or inform you that the mini bar was complementary or not, I tried to find out on the website no price list. When you leave the hotel parking there is not sensor, for the love of god, why would they build a entire building and not put a bloody sensor at the exit gate? Yu have to get out of the car and manually open the roller door. The staff have no idea

Was so good, totally recommend,one of the best hotels o have stayed at for the Price,will be staying here from now on, loved it, pool awesome to, really comfy beds very large open space.

Great room and price. Free shuttle across the street. Short walk to Roma Street Garden. Convinient and close to Fortitude Valley and CBD.

Good spot north of the city to stay Big rooms and nice to have a little kitchenette if there for a few days Easy parking Walking distance to CBD and howard street wharves for restaus and ferry etc

Nice hotel. Comfy, clean and spacious. Bathroom smelled of drains and there were no bath towels there - just hand towels. Nobody asked how our stay had been when we checked out, just whether we'd used the minibar and how we'd like to pay for it

Stayed at The Johnson over several days - loved the pool and gym area - staff very friendly and accommodating - was handy having a little kitchenette - we like staying just north of the city as have access to howard st wharves and the city as well as being able to get north easily which we needed to attend for a basketball comp. Rooms a little stuffy could have done with an extra dust and stronger vacuum - and the a/c needed a filter clean - but overall quite was clean and we really enjoyed it - will be back

It’s a lovely find. Was unwell so couldn’t swim in the beautiful long pool! Would come back. Didn’t really like the shower - we were in a wheel chair friendly room - too much water in slippery shower floor! A bit dangerous guys!

Always a wonderful stay and easy to walk anywhere!
