This was our 2nd stay here. Great location, close to public transportation, lots of eating options/cuisines to choose from in the area, and only a short uber ride from SydneyAirport. Highly recommend.

There was a few cobwebs in the room and the carpet probably should be cleaned, but overall for what we wanted the room for it’s a nice place to stay. I would stay there again. Located by the underground, good location.

This property, in hip Newtown is quiet & comfortable. It’s quite a lot older than I expected but everything was functional and clean. The complementary snacks and drinks in the foyer were a lovely addition as would have been the addition of a toaster in the room. Would stay again. I got a very good price on ‘trivago’.

Front desk was unattended when we arrived. Had to wait 15 minutes to check in. Toilet was faulty, cistern did not refill after flushing, I had to refill the cistern with the kettle. My partner used the toilet in the foyer. Told front desk that night, they did nothing. When checking out the next day, I told the front desk, said someone will be in touch. Haven't heard a peep. Sent an email. Haven't heard a peep. Terrible customer service.

We’ve stayed at The Urban Newtown a couple of times and it never disappoints. Thanks to Hotels.com member perks we got our room at a great price, check in was speedy and we were even offered to help ourselves to the fully stocked fridge in reception (beer and wine - unheard of!) The hotel is so unique with the internal gardens. The rooms are urban style at its best, complete with concrete ceilings and exposed piping, but they’re warm and inviting. The bed was so comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering its location in the heart of Newtown.

Great location - we went to an event at the Enmore. It was so close and amongst the action. You could hear traffic noise but it didn't disturb us. The free drinks in the lobby was a nice touch and the bed was extremely comfortable.
