Tuncurry Motor Lodge

This property was extremely disappointing from all aspects. The lack of maintenance was obvious from car park to rooms. I would not recommend anyone who expects, clean, comfortable accommodation to consider staying at this place.

The staff were amazing. It was comfortable for the price ! The only only downside. Would be our shower being a bit dirty and the shower head had to be leaned to the side to work. Nothing a clean won’t fix tho. Everything else. Amazing

Nice enough. Nothing big to take issue with. More pillows maybe? I didn’t ask for more just for context. Pretty decent.

Aircon not working properly. No coffee cups.

When made a complaint about other guest who was loud and noisy and kept my family awake all night I was refused a refund Horrible place to stay Would never waste my hard earned money again

Rooms need a lot of upgrades

The room was spartan. However, appliances did work once we got the fridge working properly. The room was serviced a couple of times on request. We only stay at this place because of its great location.

Good budget accommodation in a quiet area. Close to all conveniences. Cleaning could have been a little better (previous persons used soap was left in shower)TV didn't work (no antenna cable). Otherwise ok and would probably stay there again.

I paid for a Superior Room, 1 Queen Bed And when I arrived ito room it was a family room with bunk beds .. when I asked about the room I booked they told me that was my room, I said I didn’t book that as I don’t have any children They said that was the room and basically I had to take it as that’s all they had Not happy

Friendly helpful service

The room was very clean & well presented. The staff were very friendly & check in was smooth. The bed was very comfortable. It was great to have a kitchenette which included toaster, electric jug, microwave, small fridge, cutlery, limited crockery & a sink. If you are elderly request a downstairs room as there is no lift only stairs.

Whilst the room was tidy and beds comfortable Broken tiles in shower which i cut myself on and no working bedside (above bed headlight) ! Both of which would be ideal i a family room

Helpful reception staff and cleaning staff. Great fridge, freezer, storage cupboards, cutlery and crockery, toaster, microwave. Hanging clothes rack, outdoor furniture, 3 beds, which was a double and 1 single.

No room service so can't comment Great to be able to park outside room. Room was clean Microwave and fridge great for organizing own eat in meals. I know you cant see the back of rooms from street, but when you are in your room, maybe some work on the gardens for when you look out the window. When I made the comment re the noise, it must be the only accommodstion where the guests move the furniture, that's what it sound like when you have a ground floor unit, maybe installing carpet in the upstsirs room only might help😀. In all I was happy with the accommodation and felt safe

The sheets were clean, and the place was clean. Although it wasn’t super modern, the place felt clean and friendly, and it was a great place to stay.

Check in was good. Friendly staff. Room is noisy. Can hear people going to the toilet in adjacent room and people walking around in rooms above. Multiple cockroaches running around at night. Booked for 2 nights. Didn’t stay the 2nd night.

Good sized room, easy checkin and good location to walk to restaurants.

Too noise, a Neighbors put his TV on until 04.00am...
