The hotel location is very convenient, close to public transport, lots of restaurants, walkable distance to circular quay. Good room size, hotel provides essential amenities. The front desk staff are all very friendly and special thanks to Noni who take care of our luggage after checkout.

The location is perfect. Very handy to Central Station and everything going on in Sydney.
The room had everything you need but was very dated and needed to be decorated...a painting on the wall would have been nice.
The tv was small and very limited selection and most were 30 plus years old programmes.
The bed was very comfortable and linen was clean and plenty of towels.
We would stay again because of location.

Perfect location. Large modern room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning went out during our stay and we had to relocate to another hotel, but they immediately refunded the remainder of our stay.

Valentine on George is a small "apartment" style hotel. The room was spacious with a large bed. It was clean and rhe staff was very nice. Helpful and polite greeting me evey time I walked pass them. I found the best thing was the location. It was literally 1/2 block from the light rail and buses. Lots of Asian restaurants as it is the start of the Chinatown district.

Room itself not bad but terrible street, almost an alley, small old smelly entry and elevator. Staff take your info and have you sign an no further info. Area did not feel safe

Room was clean. First night no ac, second night the ac was working, but stopped during the night. Room had all white walls, gray concrete floor that was sticky. Plenty of shops are around the area. Entrance was always locked, had to use the door bell or room key to enter the building. No phone or radio in the room, and the inside lock inside the room was the old chain lock.

Room wasn’t as well looked after as previous reviews had stated. Most areas were in need of a good deep clean. Floor was sticky & felt dirty. Bed was comfortable though. Bathroom was a bit dated, shower head wouldn’t stay in place unless water pressure was low. All in not great but was able to stay.
