Excellent service from staff, while the hotel rooms are dated the room was clean and well equipped. It's a great place to stay as it's so close to restaurants, entertainment and transport

Clean room.

The room was clean and featured a generously sized shower area. Front desk staff were efficient and helpful throughout my stay. The only downside was the loud music from a nearby pub, which continued late into the night and disrupted the otherwise pleasant experience.

This hotel is close to George St, therefore close to the light rail route. The staff are particularly helpful and friendly, they arranged a shuttle to the airport for us at a cost of only $20 each. There are numerous dining options in close proximity. We will stay here again next time we are in Sydney.

Staff were pleasant. Rooms clean. Wouldn’t say the room was spacious but it acceptable. Small fridge tea making area Was surprisingly quiet in room. Very central location

The shower in the bathroom had a leak in the floor pan, resulting in the carpet getting wet outside the bathroom. The doorframe into the bathroom was mouldy. The toilet was located in a tight corner, making it tricky to use. The bedroom was a bit on the small side, with access to the queen bed from only one side. The rooms had poor sound insulation, where it sounded like the adjoining building was a nightclub from my room - with music not ending until after midnight. In my friends room, she could hear other people showering and flushing the toilets. The staff were friendly, but that can only go so far.

Room was listed at around $400, discounted from $900+ My experience with the room was that it was very clean, but small, no natural light. Window faced a small dark air conditioning unit room of some kind? The staff were very friendly and helpful in my limited interaction with them. My score is based purely on the fact that I feel that this room is not worth $900 and the discount price feels like a false advertisement to lure in unsuspecting customers. Even $400 is a stretch but it's almost acceptable because of the location in Sydney CBD.

Budget friendly, clean and great location.

When we arrived, the staff member serving us volunteered helpful information to another guest who had just arrived, but did not provide the same information to us. This felt inconsistent and unprofessional. The room itself is one of the smallest we have ever stayed in during our many years of travel. There is no space to place luggage, the wardrobe is extremely narrow with barely enough room to hang clothes, and there is no safe provided in the room. To make matters worse, water was seeping onto the bathroom floor and into the room. Staff had to use towels to soak up the water, which was inconvenient and unacceptable for a guest room.

Great location, right in the heart of Haymarket/City. Surrounded by dining options, light rail nearby, as is 2 train options (Central Station or Town Hall Station). Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of the city. The staff was really friendly.

Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location was very convenient. The room's charging point didn’t work, so the staff provided me with an adapter to borrow. The water took a very long time to heat up, and the drainage in the bathroom sink was very poor.

Excellent, the room was clean and tidy, the hotel feels very safe, I intend to stay here again in future

the rooms are very small and I do not believe they meet australian code, you can hear people going to the toilet above you, my husband had to climb over the bed to get in and out of bed, very poor value for money, will not be staying there again
