YEHS Hotel Sydney QVB

We had a room right near the lift so like all hotels it was noisy. Central heating had been changed to cooling right before a cold front so was freezing. Apart from these things the hotel and room was ok. Convenient near restaurants and transport.

Great city location, quiet, comfortable and clean room, attentive staff. Would stay again.

My friend and I shared a twin room, and while it was compact, it was spotless and appointed as you'd expect. Unfortunately the beds were hard as boards! We were booked for 2 nights, but had to leave after one night because of those beds. Staff were apologetic, but offered no solution.

Fantastic welcoming staff. The lounge is a nice added bonus with tea and coffee making facilities and delicious cookies. While the bed was very hard for me it is tricky to please everyone. The location can’t be beaten. Just a short walk from Town Hall station and the airport line, close to Gadagal metro to easily get out of the city, and a walk down George street (or use the light rail) to the Opera House or The Rocks. Would definitely stay again

Great location for an overnight stay before an early flight the next day. Even better that we were welcomed by friendly staff on arrival, shown to our very clean, spacious and comfortable room, and had a great, restful sleep in a good bed with silence. Thank you - we will be back!

In centre of city with shops, transportation, culture & nightlife close by. Room was at rear of property overlooking an access road & looking onto another property. There is a common area to eat or relax but sometimes this was closed off due to meetings. Only way to access this area is via the lift as the corridor was used for left luggage. Staff were helpful & communication prior to stay. Front desk seemed always staffed which was beneficial as arrival was delayed by 15 hours due to cancelled flight.

Location was fantastic. Very friendly and professional staff willing to be helpful. Room was basic but had all that was needed They should rotate the mattress to get more even use. Quiet room.

Room needs vacuuming every day as hair was all over the floor and in the bathroom. Had to call reception 3 times as air con was not programmed to heat.

Extremely small room. Even hardly any space to get comfortably to the toilet! Not even a chair in the room and a television set on a wall 0.5m from the bed... Mind you, useless anyhow, as every time you leave the room, the tv set needs to be rescanned for channels... I believe the discounted price is a false advertising... There is NO way the rooms are ever as expensive as they claim. Tiny lobby and no common space downstairs - can't find anywhere, how many stars they claim but I don't think it's more than 2...

All staff were very welcoming and our questions were no problem for them. The property was very centrally located which was excellent for all our requirements. Being close to transport options was important to us. We would stay here again.

Very friendly staff especially upon check in, Penny was a gem, she allowed us to check in before 3 pm as we got there around 1pm. Our room was spacious enough, everything was clean. However, I was horrified to find that my mattress was very old, I could feel the metal parts, spring rubbing on my back, bed was sagging in the middle too. I tried putting cushions and even had to fold the quilt in half horizontally so I could get some sleep. My husband 's bed was not as bad. I often book twin beds as he snores very loud and had to wake him up a few times to tell him to turn the other way. Anyway, it was just for one night so lucky for me. Had to take a sleeping tablet around 4 am as didn't want to depend on it but I had to. So got under 4 hours of sleep. I also requested an extra pillow i

Right in the middle of everything, light rail just across the road, staff were excellent and nothing was a problem. Water in the rooms would have been better but only a minor issue

I wanted a single room close to Town Hall Sydney and the locaton was perfect. My flight was early, I couldn't get into the room, but checked in, left case and got a call when it was available. Seems I was upgraded to an Executive, so that really made feel special. The complimentary bottle of wine was also a very pleasant surprise for me too! All the reception staff made we welcome and greetem me each time I came or left the hotel. I will be staying there next time I go to Sydney and taking my wife too 😌

This hotel was a great stay staff very good all the location is great if you don’t know Sydney it is very strategic at the Queen Victoria building very central

Nothing standout but a good, average hotel. I didn’t like that my room didn’t have a window to the outside, but I also get that it’s right in the heart of the CBD and that isn’t always possible. The staff were wonderful though, so kind, friendly, and helpful!

Convenient location for State Theatre. Great restaurants and shopping nearby
