Check in was easy. Room was clean mostly but fridge was dirty with black stuff on a shelf. Room was small but hotel is very conveniently located.

It was nice but as an old fashioned travellers I would prefer to see a front desk and someone that I can talk to

We really enjoyed staying at the City Pension. Although not like a traditional hotel, everything worked very well. The room just perfect for 2 people. Bathroom was small but very functional with no issues. Room was cleaned everyday. Having a coffee maker and electric kettle was great. There was no iron but that was ok for us. The location was the best part. Most places of interest are within 15 min walk. Great restaurants within a few minutes and of course, great deserts everywhere.

First time self check in and it all went smooth. Hotel has a coffee machine and electric kettle. Location is easy access to attractions and metro. Hotel is clean. The room is small but clean and comfortable

The room smelled like someone had previously smoked in the room but the worst part was the loud noise that made it nearly impossible to sleep. There is a bar or club below that played loud bass thumping music until 4am that can be heard loudly in the room. Additionally starting at 7am there was more noise that sounded like a train going by for 2 hours. I put white noise to try and drowned out the sounds but both times the sounds were too loud and the white noise didn’t work. I don’t know how anyone staying here gets any sleep.

The room we had which was a double small I think was very small, had to hop over luggage’s on the floor. The bathroom was small but doable, I like that they provide more amenities just outside your door in the hallway since there isn’t staff on site 24/7. The location was amazing, just two streets over from the st stephens square and basilica. The door to the hotel while in the building was never actually locked you could pull the handle and walk in so anyone from the street could technically enter. The lock pad to our room was malfunctioning, would not lock from the outside would have to wait five minutes for the flashing to stop. Eventually the second day the cleaner was outside the room and she phoned to have someone fix it while we were gone. The bed was comfy, relatively clean room, some spots on the floor were dirty when we moved the table over. I noticed a ball like thing behind the curtain above the bed attached to the wall that looked like a public camera used in stores I’m not sure what this was. Otherwise decent stay for the price in the area.

The only pro is the location. The room is very small. You hear everything from outside. Doesn't recommend for the paid price.

Everything was perfect!

The place was very centrally located. The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the mini fridge did not work properly and my yogurt spoiled. Not a fan of the self service/ electronic model for check-in/ communicating, etc. I can respect that but I doubt I would stay here again. Too expensive for what the room/ service offered.
