I have been in a lot of hotel rooms, and Ochsen has some of the best room interior design I have seen. From the white-yellow Color scheme to which I admit I am partial, to the huge closets and top quality bathroom, to the lighting design. The restaurant area maintains a chalet charm, in contrast with the modern rooms. Best of both worlds. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. You can travel around the area using public transport, something I wish I had done instead of driving, as the Bregenz area can get busy. I will not hesitate to come back here.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, reichhaltiges Frühstück, großes sauberes Zimmer, Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Zentrale aber ruhige Lage. Leider habe ich übersehen, dass das Restaurant nur Donnerstags bis Samstag am Abend geöffnet hat, somit musste man leider etwas anderes suchen.

This is a traditional gasthof on the edge of a pretty village in lovely country, the proprietor and staff are particularly welcoming and helpful, thoroughly recommended.
