We had a lovely stay in Mercure Wein City Hotel. Front desk/ Reception staffs were very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping and kitchen/dining room staffs were doing a great job.
Highly recommended this Mercure Hotel in District 2. Just 3mins walk and you're in St. Stephen's Cathedral, City Center..

Overall clean and comfy rooms.
But for the price paid, we were disappointed to see signs of deterioration in our room and room cleaning on one of the days we stayed was below standards (crumbs left on the bedside table, area around the sink not cleaned and cups/mugs not changed).

The hotel was very clean, nice and modern and in a quieter area in Vienna. Very walkable to all the main tourists attractions. There’s a great little coffee shop right on the corner which has great breakfast options, very clean and the gentleman in the coffee shop is super nice and friendly.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights while visiting Vienna's Christmas Market. We had a nice room with a comfortable queen bed and a nice shower. At first I was not sure how close to all the actions this hotel would be but it worked out very well. Within 15 minutes walking of the Innere Stadt. We did not use the breakfast option. Front desk was VERY helpful with following up on our missing luggage, bus ticket, etc. I recommend this hotel.
