We unfortunately just stayed for one night, but we loved our visit and would definitely go back. Staying at Hotel Mader is like going back in time in the best kind of way. Very historic rooms though still warm and comfortable. The breakfast included in our stay was amazing with every kind of food and so many drink options. The staff was very accommodating. Hope to return!

We really enjoyed our stay. I looked at a few options for our stay in Steyr and was happy the we went with Hotel Mader. The Breakfest buffet was great , the rooms were big and the staff was so friendly.
I would highly recommend Hotel Mader if you are visiting Steyr.

Every evening I ate in the hotel. I wanted to eat in the Wine Stuber but each time they pushed to the breakfast room I wanted to enjoy the ambience of the wine bar not sit alone in the breakfast area. I pushed back and they begrudgingly let me eat in the wine bar. Rest of the hotel stay was excellent.

Service is much better than I expected. Excellent housekeeping, great laundry service. Very good restaurant. The room is a bit dark and because the house is over 300 years old the placement of rooms have unusual configuration. Central and close to everything in the main square of old town.

Unfortunately, I had to learn upon my arrival that the hotel car parking was full.
