Sporthotel Zugspitze

Beautiful hotel with an amazing view. The people here are very hospitable and accommodating. We absolutely loved Lermoos in general. Great location.

This is a wonderful hotel. The location and parking are very convenient and the view is just breathtaking. The Zugspitze was right outside our window. The room was very nice, large and clean. The staff was very friendly. We decided to eat dinner at the hotel and it was delicious as well as a great value. Breakfast was nice as well. This is a great place to stay to be able to visit many wonderful sights nearby. Highly recommend!

We found our stay fabulous. The staff was especially accommodating, the dinner and breakfast was amazing. The dinner atmosphere and the staff was an experience I’ve rarely witnessed. The feel and ambiance of the entire stay was one you would expect only in a movie. I will stay there again and encourage anyone to stay.

Gorgeous setting in the shadow of Zugspitze, wonderful food and fantastic service. A perfect 2 days...except it rained and we couldnt see the top of Zugspitze most of the time. Get a room on back of hotel. Its worth it. Schnitzel to die for.

Perfect location for riding the bike, long walks, phishing, running or playing golf. For the mountain lovers I believe that hiking tours are avalable also. The restaurant of the hotel has a very good chef that spoiled us in each of the two evenings when we hâd the dinner there. During sunny days a wonderful terase alow you to admire the Zugspitze top.

My wife and I booked the room using my phone and limited wifi service a day prior to our arrival. We traveled from Switzerland to Austria and then Germany. We didn't arrive until 10 pm and the receptionist (maybe owner) gave my wife attitude about our late arrival. We had only booked a single room and I requested a roll away bed, as the Hotels.com website instructed we could request. The receptionist said it would not fit and then gave us our room key. To my surprise the room was spacious. My wife felt the decor was "creepy" and it didn't help that our television was broken. Still, we just needed a safe place to crash, so I was happy. The following morning, after a quaint breakfast, we checked out and the price was 2x the amount I agreed to on Hotels.com. He told me 2 people = twice the price. He told me that this was normal as it was 2 people showering, etc. I knew I would have to pay for the extra breakfast, but took issue with this. The owners were argumentative and while they could converse with me in English, said nastier things to my wife in German (apparently). It left a horrible impression of the hotel and ruined our entire day. I understand that some of miscommunication was due to the fact that we could not contact the hotel directly prior to our arrival, but I have never experienced anything like that.

Amazing place and beautiful views. The service was excellent. We will most certainly return for a much longer stay. All in all it was one of the highlights of our stay

Great view facing the tallest Alps peaks in Germany and alpine valley! Good restaurant and food.

The staff makes extra effort to help with planning sightseeing, accomodating food/drink requests. The stay was the highlight of our trip to 4 countries. Dinner was delicious- fresh local mushrooms in several of the dishes. They really go the extra mile.

The hotel is very nice with a view of rolling hills. The room is cozy and comfortable. The owner is friendly. It is 20 miles away from the Neuswanstein castle.

It was night when 27 of our family arrived and one of our granddaughters said "It's so pretty, I'm gonna die!" The traditional architecture was beautifully lit up. The restaurant manager stayed late to check us in and we all had a great night's sleep. In the morning we were all blown away by the breakfast buffet! It was the best we've had during our 3 week family tour of the Reformation sites in Europe. The mountain views were breathtaking! We stayed here before touring Neuschwanstein Castle. However, when we got to the castle at 9:00 am, the next tour opening was 5:00 pm! There were many large tour buses ahead of us. We walked up to visit the outside of the castle anyway and noticed that every 5 minutes, another booked tour was called. We had tried to book 2 days ahead of time online, but were unable to. We wish we could have stayed at the Zugspitze hotel longer!
