Long Beach Hotel

It was a wonderful experience overall. The staff were very kind, the food was excellent (though expensive, which we expected for Cox’s Bazar), and we appreciated the free car service. We also didn’t face any hidden charges. However, we had one concerning incident during housekeeping. On the second day, my wife left her foundation makeup on the table before we went to the beach. When we returned, the room had been cleaned and some items had clearly been moved around. The foundation box was missing. We are not accusing anyone we don’t have proof of theft but the item went missing from a locked room and only after housekeeping, which was upsetting and confusing (especially since other more expensive items were left untouched). We hope management takes this seriously and improves housekeeping accountability so future guests don’t face the same issue. Overall, we had a great stay, but this incident left a bad impression.

They were pleasant enough but the hotel is run down, dark and quite dirty. I moved after one day and got a refund.

Huge room, clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff.

New hotel, well maintained, spotlessly clean, European style rooms and modern bathrooms (without going overboard with extra frills). Hotel has good amenities, although the pool is nothing more than a splash pool for the kids. Dinner buffet is really good. Staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel is located on the main road, but rooms at the back are quiet. Beach is a short (and cheap) rickshaw ride away. Overall it's hard to fault the hotel.

Great place to stay lot's of places around

They are not 5 star, not even 3 star. Everything was disappointing other then their Breakfas. Room was not made properl, no hand soap in the bathroom, floor was not clean, only one toothbrush, paste, and sandals were given in a room for two. In yhe toilet Toilet-Paper was not enoug. When i called the front office they told me to call Housekeeping and make my room!!!!"

Nice & friendly staff. Free Airport transfer. Very close to eateries like KFC, Pizza Hut, Salt Bistro..etc.

Good location and friendly staff but I think the hotel would benefit from an upgrade, particularly the shower as the water heater seems to be small and local to each bathroom. If you plan to have a bit longer shower, then you are in for a cold shower.

Was good but not best service.. They don't fulfill any special requests like put some flower in room... The switches and bathroom tools seems old and not working properly..

Cleanliness was first class, which made me extremely happy and comfortable. In the swimming pool area including sauna and steam baths, there was no shower, I think. I could not enjoy sauna as much as I wanted because I could not cool myself down with cold water. Also, there was no room to change clothes. Since it was only me who wanted to use the sauna at that time, I put off and on my clothes inside the sauna. In the hotel room there was a kind of notice/advertisement saying something like, "20% discount for all room service menu", but there was no "menu" anywhere. I had to call the room service asking for a food menu to take my dinner. Then a restaurant menu was brought in. However, in other hotels there is a list of food that can be delivered as part of their room service. I also want to add here that the "20% discount" was not applied to my dinner bill though it was ordered as room service. The hotel has wonderful facilities and there should be a leaflet in the guest room summarizing them with locations and details on how to use them including fees. After making the hotel booking, I called the hotel to inquire whether the hotel provides or rents swimming costume to hotel guests. The answer was "Yes", but in fact there was no such service. Overall, it was a nice stay and I enjoyed very much. If only the hotel management may learn more how to run the hotel to maximize the satisfaction of guests as Long Beach Hotel has many excellent facilities!

Great location, great breakfast

Long Beach is the best high(ish) end hotel value in CXB. It blows away the nearby located and similarly priced Hotel the Cox Today (actual name). Long Beach has recently gone through a remodel and all the amenities were very nice. It’s breakfast is excellent, with an expansive spread of Bangladeshi and continental fare, as well as a made-to-order egg station. (Unfortunately no real coffee, only mix). It has a small gym and a moderately sized pool. The rooms have an extra nook with desk. Only minus was the bathroom did smell of sewage (I had stayed there previously in a different room and did not have the smell problem)
