The quadruple family room was spacious and clean and well equipped for everything we needed. The hotel is well located to walk to the main sights and across the town, very close to the grote markt, and lots of nice restaurants while still being quiet. Staff were very helpful with any information we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, clean, spacious room. Basic but great value. In a nice area of town too. A short walk from the central square, but outside of the main tourist thoroughfare so it's quiet at night.

Our experience at Hotel du Théâtre was great — everything was clean and comfortable and we did not lack for anything. The staff at reception is very helpful and friendly. As we were traveling with bikes, the hotel was able to provide a secure location for us to store our bikes overnight that is off the street.

I particularly did like how when I asked for coffee (the room was stocked with only 2 little packets of Decaf coffee for the 2 of us which we of course used on the first day), the lady who was working there mid-day after our check in day (she had darker hair) gave me a very rude response almost like she was ‘shoeing’ us away saying that the room only gets coffee when the cleaners clean the room to which I said we didn’t have any room cleaning as we didn’t need it, she rolled her eyes and said she’d have someone send us some coffee up and then carried on down the hall without asking which room we were staying in or anything. We waited 2.5 hours and then I said screw it and went back downstairs and found the stash of coffee packets and sugar (normal coffee not decaf) and I got it myself and brought it back to the room. Mind boggling how such a small request became such a task for this very rude front desk lady.
