No AC or fans in the rooms, and it was hotter inside than outside during our stay. A staff member kindly gave me a portable unit, but the owner said I was “lucky” to get it. This should be clear in the listing—35°C (95°F) with no fan is unacceptable.

The Hotel Klokkenhof is a family-oriented, quiet, and well-designed property located about 20 minutes from the Netherlands border. The staff and the hotel owner were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was authentically charming. The backyard is a lovely space where you can spend quality time with your children. The only drawback was the presence of a number of horseflies on the property. However, aside from that, I would highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. The only problems we had were the same breakfast options each day & we were there 10 days. Also, we had trouble with the remote control on tv. It seem to have a short & was difficult in changing channels or adjusting sound. The only other problem was short staff the second time we had dinner in restaurant & we had invited friends to join us. The staff was very nice but took around 2 hours to be served. But the hotel & restaurant were lovely & we would probably stay again, hopefully with these issues being resolved.

This is one of worst experience i have experienced Room was cold stuff tried overselling me breakfast and room was terrible I choose this hotel for stars it got but I can’t say it was a hotel very bad experience it should be listed as hostel and not hotel

My sister and I stayed back in 2017 and really enjoyed our stay. Generally this time we enjoyed our stay. The manager in the afternoon and evening was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The Lady who was in charge in the morning with curly hair was not so nice or helpful. We were disappointed that the hotel shut after breakfast, so you were unable to purchase a drink or speak to any management. Surely a hotel should be open 24/7 for guests! The rooms were looking a bit tired and in dire need of air conditioning.

Older building, but well kept by a couple / owners who went out of their way to make things great for us. The restaurant was very good, with childrens' meals that were fantastic and fun. The rooms were very comfortable. The only negative comment is that the floors creaked because they were old wood, but we actually didn't mind, because it was real wooden floors. The place was great!

Lovely hotel, very spacious rooms and located in a nice aera.we drove to antwerp from the hotel about 15km away. Only thing i didn't like was the price of the buffet breakfast very expensive €15 per person

What can I say Hotel is home from home Loverly decoy Candles lit Loverly corridors with dogs and clocks The rooms were spotless and a shower you would die for And to finish it off Loverly management team The bar was well stocked And I heard the voices of American visitors Who were talking how fabulous the place is I am going back
