Comfortable and friendly hotel in the north central part of town around a 10 minute walk from the railway station. There are many bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood including the Botteltje which is across the road and the beach is a 3 minute stroll, two blocks away. A wide selection of options are available at breakfast time at the hotel and are well worth it. Staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable for local info as are the staff at the tourist information office on langestraat opposite the Kursaal casino

As a frequent visitor to Ostend I have stayed in
several hotels with star ratings from 1 to 5 and I have no qualms in saying THE LOUISA is one of
the best I have stayed in.
Value for money,cleanliness and friendliness were
all top notch.
The breakfast was a delight, the ability to boil our
own eggs to perfection was a true innovation.

Registering on arrival was not helpful because we were told that, although we were early (which we knew) the rooms would be available at 11.30am On our return we were told through the intercom system that it would be 12.30 Eventually we returned after 3.00pm and then were able to register. Fortunately we were able to leave our luggage on our first visit and did not have to keep it with us until 3.00pm

booked for 2 rooms for trip in oct in march arrived to book in according to the staff only one room booked offered me a substandard room at not much discount with poor facilities and when complained was told not to rebooked for next year. when booking had also emailed them direct to confirm booking so no excuses

This is a brilliant place to stay location-wise, 2mins from the beach/close to the harbour (free parking) and the staff were super friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
We stayed with our two small children in a family room, so I can't vouch as a stay for a honeymooning couple!
This is superior budget hotel with good breakfast included in nice surroundings. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel unfortunately is in need of some TLC our room was very worn looking especially the bathroom with a hair rinse and inadequate showing facilities, the staff were helpful and pleasant, the best part of the hotel is its location very central.

The hotel is very well situated, close to the beach and the shops. The room was fairly clean and comfortable (although the view was non-existent). The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgable (recommended a lot of restaurants, etc.). The overall condition of the hotel is good and it's a really good value for money. I would book a room again if I visited Ostend.
