Mercure Antwerp City Centre

My parents and I have just returned from a New Years Eve trip to Antwerp. We had a brilliant stay at the MAEK Hotel which is close to Antwerp Central Station. The location is perfect, the rooms are modern and comfortable, and the whole place has a relaxed, stylish vibe that makes you feel instantly at home. The breakfast was also 10/10. A special shout‑out to the receptionist, a young lad called Eecol, who genuinely made the stay even better. He was friendly, informative, and had a great sense of humour. He went out of his way to help with recommendations and local tips, all delivered with a bit of banter. My only complaint? He’s a Max Verstappen fan… but I suppose nobody’s perfect. All in all, a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Nice hotel, in a good location, room very clean, bed very comfy. reception staff very helpful and friendly. would recommend

A good place to stay that is walkable from train station. Room was pretty big and in great condition. There is an excellent park right across the street for families with young kids.
