Bel Rea Guest House

People working there were not really friendly at all and they didnt know the system of booking online which really delayed me a lot by explain and going back and forth.

The guest house far underachieved expectations. Staff had to have the booking proven to them rather than having a record themselves. The property looked very little like the photos being run down and only two rooms like that advertised. No mosquito nets provided despite being close to a flooded salt pan and many bugs in the area. The proposed charge for breakfast was extortionate at 85 Pula (didn’t try it so can’t comment on how good it was). Only one towel provided in the room despite two guests so we had to ask for more. Fixtures in the room were broken although had stickers specifying that breakages would be charged for. Curtain in the bathroom didn’t cover the clear window. The power was shut off at 2000, so no option of staying up later. Neighbouring rooms had flood lights on all night making a good nights rest difficult. One of the door locks was broken. Overall, for the price, this was extremely disappointing, the quality provided would be more suited to hostel prices than 3* hotel prices.

Reception zuerst nicht anwesend, dann unfreundlich, keine Informationen über Aktivitäten in der Nähe. Unsere Reservierung wurde nicht gefunden. In der Deckenlampe befanden sich hunderte tote Mücken und Fliegen. In der Decke selbst ein ca 50 cm langer Schlitz. Zwei weitere Lampen konnten nicht verwendet werden, da der Stecker nicht passte. Trotzdem im Prospekt angekündigt wurde, dass es Frühstück gibt, wurde unsere Bestellung nicht angenommen. Warmwasser hat nicht funktioniert und wurde auch nicht repariert. Der einzige positive Punkt unseres Aufenthalts war die Freundlichkeit des Securitymannes.
