The hostel had lots of character and some helpful staff, but it was quite worn down and not the cleanest.

Terrible management, bad conditions. This is not a hotel. This is a hostel. Pictures on the website are different from the offered rooms. During my stay, I felt a strong smell from the toilet drain. If you want a room similar to those pictures, you are charged extra. During my stay, a guy from reception took of his shirt and stayed like that for hours. Area near the pool is very cute, breakfast is nice. On the other hand, I wish I could have my money back.

The hotel it's a good option if you're staying a couple of days in Rio do Janeiro. The rooms are a bit small, but the staff is amazing and really sweet, and everything is aesthetically pleasing! The breakfast could be improved, but it was really good! It's also very well located

I booked here based on the picures of hotel and reviews. Honestely, i was very disappointed by all. Staff showed me different rooms when i checked in but there were all the same bad. Building was out dated and room condition was just like cheap hostel. Washroom cailing was opened so your partner can hear all you do in there. Windows are very old so i didnt feel secure. Does not lock properly. The only nice thing was staff. I chosed to check-in another hotel nearby although i already paid for this. Refund was not available.

The room is quite stylish but a bit small for 3. Good breakfast and convenient location.

I spent a few days in Casa Tuxi, the staff is great, always helpful and checking all the details to make my stay super confortable. My only advise is regarding the wifi which doesnt work in the room and was weak sometimes in the lobby.

We chose the hotel for a-locality and b-cost. It is located in a great location for the metro and walking. The pictures on hotels.com are nothing like reality though. Breakfast was good. Our room had a bed and a bedside table on one side and a wall on the other. There's nowhere to hang clothes or shelves to out anything on. There's one chair only. There is a fridge though. We were there for 4 nights and although we asked for a change of towels after the 2nd night, and the bin emptied, neither was done in the 4 days we stayed. Wifi in the reception area only; our room had a window onto the passageway and there was a light on most of the night which was annoying. Most of the staff spoke English which was a bonus. You have to ask for a hairdryer if you need one. It would have been nice to have some insight of how to get to everywhere when asked or even before asking. Perhaps an informational leaflet would be helpful. There's a supermarket a little to the left on exiting the hotel which has a restaurant. Excellent pizzas. You order your food, choose the wine or beer from the supermarket and sit at the table. Fabulous - but we found it; no one told us which was a pity. Would we stay again? Yes but. It that room.

Boa localização, perto do metrô. Tinha vaga pra estacionar na rua, mercado do lado. Local agradável, com piscina e bar com drinks e petiscos. Ar condicionado gelando bem. Um salve pro João, um querido! Pegamos o patinete no metrô e fomos até a praia de Copacabana, recomendo! Café da manhã com muitas frutas, faltou um suco.

Väldigt nedgånget, smutsigt och rent av ofräscht. Skulle bo här i 3 nätter stannade 2. Efter att jag checkat in och sett rummet så bokade jag direkt nytt boende. Detta är inget 3 stjärnigt hotell utan ett vandrarhem som borde se över sina städ rutiner. Annars va personalen väldigt trevliga vilket va det ända positiva.

Razoável, localização fantástica

Eles são extremamente educados, conforto da cama e travesseiro muito bom. MASSS, o quarto estava muito sujo, com lixo de outra pessoa no banheiro com direito a casca de banana e papel higiênico no chão onde ainda pedimos para retirar com educação e não fomos atendidos. O café estava gelado, além de uma fruta mofada.

Local incrível , muito bem localizado !!! Lugar aconchegante !!! Café da manhã delicioso !!! Fizeram upgrade do quarto !!! Muito bem recebido por todos

Instalações precárias, sujeira predominando em todos os ambientes, começando pela recepção. Atendimento pessimo, cheiro desagradável nas dependências, piscina suja, quarto com manchas nas paredes, colchão no chão cheio de pó, não recomendo pra ninguém.

É muito ruim, de assustar NÃO VÁ!!!

Hospedagem muito bem localizada e pessoal super cortes e gentil. Atendeu muito bem a nossa necessidade de pernoite no RJ.

Experiência incrível!!! Principalmente pela proposta do estabelecimento em ter apenas funcionários psiquiátricos reabilitados. Parabéns pela iniciativa!!! Café da manhã delicioso

Cobrou um valor a mais mesmo sendo alguado o quarto para o casal

não foi feito o check-in pois o local não condiz com o que era esperado. Péssimas condições , mal cheiro etc.
