I always stay at Anaca when I'm in Sao Carlos (every two years). Reliable free wifi, Bed is comfortable, a good desk to work at, good free breakfast bar in the morning and the staff are helpful. I can't speak for the TV, since I never use it. There are good restaurants in walking distance.

For a business trip stay, the hotel was reasonable. The breakfast was included, and had some good items like salmon, capers, and cream cheese. The wifi speed was reasonable, although a bit slower in the morning.

I have stayed here before years ago. It is a convenient location for us since some of our family live close. But there are a few stores and small market that makes this a convenient located hotel. The room needs updating. They should have a larger fridge and they should provide a microwave. The furnishings are very old and Def need updating. Good at restaurant not good. Breakfast pretty good. Staff extremely nice.

probably one of the best hotels close to the uni. breakfast was good. windows were not really sound-proof, so you can hear the noise from the street. maybe upper floors can help a bit.

The problem is that this is the only hotel option in downtown, and they know it, and they use it. Let's start with the positives: Service staff is friendly, and the lobby is modern. BUT ... the rooms! First they look like they haven't been re-decorated for 50 years! The furniture is broken in varous places, the carpet is filthy, and the mattress is cheap. But perhaps the worst is the noise: it is located at a busy street where at night cars and scooters love to rev their engines, but the windows have next to no noise insulation power. To help it, tried to run AC all night. That is, after we got it working, which required three different staff people trying. But then, the AC makes a very annoying loud clicking sound at irregular intervals a few times per hour. And it goes on and on - STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN!

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. Staff is courteous, and sushi restaurant is very good, but rooms are in need of upgrade. Furniture is old, carpet is old. I will only stay there again because of limited hotel options in Sao Carlos. GIve me another convenient option, and I would take it.

Péssimo. Reservei um quarto e me coloraram em outro. Sem box, camas baixas e moles. Uma fresca enorme da porta que fazia um barulho insuportável. Ao pedir para trocar tive que ouvir um “verei se tem algum quarto disponível” sendo que fiz minha reserva em maio. E na hora de acertar as contas, quiseram me dar 50 reais de desconto, alegando que eu tinha dormido no quarto que não era meu e usado a água para tomar banho. Fui muito mal atendida. Café da manhã com pães duros. Não recomendo esse hotel.
