Amazing! Will stay again!

A/C just can be used from 6pm to 10am. So if you want to stay at the room is hell.

Una de las mejores experiencias que tuve en viajes, los chicos del hotel muy serviciales en especial Flor y Ezequiel.

I stayed at Ipanema Beach Hostel at first 6 days and it was the best place I’ve stayed so far!! I decided to come back earlier at the end of my trip because it was a nice place to meet people and do party! The staff is friendly and always present to help in case of any concerns. It’s a great location in Rio and it’s really easy to meet others solo travelers. There is also a lot of activities organized by the hotel.

I stayed there for four nights. The social atmosphere is excellent, but for one that actually wants to sleep at night it's not the best option. Party noises continue probably until 3am, even with earplugs I still couldn't sleep. Also the rooms are so cramped. If it weren't for the friendly staff and free drinks from 8-9pm I would not have been happy at all with any aspect of my stay.

I liked the location and the hostel! Sadly the bathroom had an issue.. and when I was charged extra cause my sis joined me in the private room that I wasnt really informed about and was told upon check out but i didnt really care much as I was rushing to head out and catch a flight. Later on I realized that was another R$80++ more and I didnt get an extra mattress for it or a bigger room. But anyway, the staff in total are nice. Food breakfast was alright for us, simple but really good enough to get going and I liked it personally. :) you get to toast your bread, have a cup of hot chocolate, cereals, yummy fruits, etc. i loved the location it's very close to the beach. Safe! Walk around for shopping. We had to take our stuff 3 large suitcases up but we survived. Theyre working on the elevator.. it's clean nice and new. They need to have the bathroom/toilet fixed. I was gonna stay for a night and extended for another night and had to endure the smell and flush problems the entire stay.. i informed them though. I wasnt around the whole stay so it was alright for me. I dont mind staying again I just hope I was properly informed prior about the addtl charges I only realized when I was on the flight out. Balcony is good too for the private room! :)

o quarto estava sempre limpo, as senhoras da limpeza super educadas, as atividades que o hostel oferece também é um ponto alto desta avaliação e a equipe do staff da recepção foram muito prestativos e ajudaram muito com dicas sobre o rio de janeiro.

O quarto era bom e era limpo todos os dias. A localização é ótima, tendo a praia perto, mercado, famarcias, restaurants, etc. o staff é ok, não costumam falar muito os hóspedes e não promovem muita interação. O Thiago da Recepção foi super atensioso. Não tive muito contato com os demais mas foram educados quando procurando.

O quarto estava bem sujo quando eu cheguei, só tinha mais uma hóspede além de mim no quarto. O banheiro ser separado da parte do box acho que foi a pior parte, nunca vi isso em nenhum outro lugar que me hospedei, a cama era confortável e tinha cortina e iluminação o que é um ponto positivo, mas o hostel não oferece coberta grátis, somente um lençol. O lugar em si parece que está em reforma pois tem muitas coisas fora do lugar na recepção, e o locker é dentro do sofá na recepção onde todos tem acesso, o que não achei muito seguro. Em relação as atividades que o hostel disponibiliza, não achei que gere grande interação entre os hóspedes, e os vídeos que eles colocam nas redes sociais não é do dia, o que passa uma impressão errada sobre a socialização que eles vendem no Instagram.

A varanda em péssima condição de limpeza, o banco que estava lá, estava tão sujo que não era possível sentar sem sujar. Mofo nas paredes e banheiro

Muito mofo no banheiro, e a janela estava entrando agua da chuva. As portas dos banheiros e chuveiros não trancavam e estava e, péssima condição de limpeza com paredes descascando.

Localização com com certeza é um dos pontos mais favoráveis. Equipe educada e prestativa. Hostel bem animado com atividades todos os dias para interagir o pessoal. Único ponto a melhorar seria o banheiro no quarto, que era muito pequeno para banho.

Hostel incrivelmente pequeno e apertado, quartos apertados, vaso sanitário e chuveiro separados, limpeza simples, pouca possibilidade de interação... Quem vai querer ficar num lugar apertado?! Bom quem vai em grupo, pois quem vai sozinho não indico. Café da manhã por 30 reais... Não quis pagar... Achei simples, mas por aquela região ser Leblon / Ipanema pode acabar compensando por ter frutas. Muito bom o negócio de caipirinha gratis. No geral, jamais voltaria.

Perfeito! Voltaria mil vezes, melhor hospedagem do Rio
