Pousada do Toque

What was meant to be a relaxing honeymoon turned into a stressful and unsafe experience. After sitting in an empty hammock in a common area, we were harassed by other guests who falsely claimed it was reserved, despite management confirming that common areas cannot be reserved. The situation escalated into continuous verbal abuse throughout the day and the entire weekend, including being called “stupid” for speaking English and facing xenophobic remarks toward me for being a foreigner. Management not only failed to intervene, but never apologized, sided with other guests, and allowed the situation to spiral out of control. We did not feel safe and were forced to leave early following Expedia’s guidance due to unsafe conditions. Despite this, the property is refusing a refund and charged us for days we were no longer there. We do not recommend this property. Everything you see in the pictures will probably be reserved by old guests with common towels so don’t expect anything other than a room.

The Pousada itself was neatly maintained and workers (JR, Jotinho, Gil, Bruno, female receptionist and Celio) were a complete delight and made our stay very very very comfortable. However, MANAGEMENT (VICTOR) is terrible. Unapproachable, rude, and no one who works for him thinks he belongs in the position. We were treated better by other Pousadas management than our own. My advice to the owner, replace your son before you lose out on more business.

Pousada muito bem localizada, funcionários excelentes, quartos muito bons e boas comidas e drinks. Contudo, a pousada como um todo peca na manutenção: há degrau quebrado, caminhos de cupim, telhas fora do lugar e diversas coisas que parecem refletir a falta de alguém com visão geral de manutenção - parece que atuam apenas para consertar os problemas e não para manter e impedir que eles aconteçam. No geral, recomendo a pousada, mas com essa ressalva.

Minha experiência na Pousada do Toque foi mista. Por ser parte do Roteiro de Charme, eu esperava um padrão mais alto, especialmente nas acomodações, que são simples e sem muito luxo. A cama é confortável, mas o banheiro precisa de melhorias. Ficamos dois dias sem água quente e não recebemos informações claras ou atualizações da equipe sobre o problema. Esse tipo de falha impacta bastante a experiência com o serviço do local. Em compensação, a gastronomia é muito boa e os garçons se destacam pela atenção e simpatia. No geral, há pontos positivos, mas a pousada precisa melhorar a estrutura e principalmente a comunicação com os hóspedes.

Simplesmente sensacional ! Praia linda, hotel aconchegante e caprichado… cozinha impecável …. mas a equipe faz toda a diferença ! Equipe bem treinada, mas mais que isso, atendem com alegria e afetuosidade ! Parabéns !

Tivemos uma excelente estadia na Pousada do Toque. A equipe foi extremamente gentil e atenciosa em todos os momentos, e os chalés são muito charmosos e confortáveis. Recomendo fortemente e, sem dúvida, voltarei!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die teils negativen Bewertungen können wir nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen, und das Personal war durchgehend äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Verständigung war mangels Englisch/Spanisch und unserer fehlenden Portugiesischkenntnisse manchmal schwierig, funktionierte aber mit Geduld und Gesten dennoch gut. Da wir viel reisen (u. a. Malediven, Thailand, Südafrika, Mauritius), haben wir Vergleichswerte – umso positiver fiel uns hier die Herzlichkeit auf. Das Zimmer war angenehm groß, das Bett bequem und der Service zuverlässig. Der Kühlschrank wirkte etwas älter und könnte erneuert werden. Eine Kaffeemaschine und kostenloses Wasser im Zimmer wären wünschenswert. Das Frühstück à la carte war gut, mit ausreichender Auswahl. Zusätzliche Optionen wie Waffeln, Pancakes, Croissants sowie mehr Abwechslung bei Wurst und Käse wären eine sinnvolle Ergänzung. Der Strand ist wunderschön und es gibt genügend Liegen. Die ruhige, etwas abgelegene Lage hat uns gefallen, auch wenn Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar, aber eher teuer sind. Der nächste Supermarkt ist ca. 2 km entfernt, auch die Hotelpreise sind gehoben. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das authentisch freundliche Personal. Insgesamt hatten wir eine tolle Zeit und kommen gerne wieder.
