Pousada Fortaleza

Nice place and location.

The room is Ok but it’s old and smells the old thing. Then the toilet smells really bad, the one of sewer. Then the air conditioner dripping over my head so couldn’t sleep properly in my bed. As there is an single extra-bed in my room, luckily, I did spent my 3 nights there. Otherwise, it’s OK . The breakfast is perfect, full of good s things to eat but it’s starts only at 8h, so you couldn’t start your day earlier. None of the staff speak other language than Portugal. The good thing is the location is in the old town, so it’s just 5-10 min of walking and the bus station is just 5 min away.

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but always fresh, and the staff were very friendly. The walls are thin and I was easily awoken by doors closing and toilets flushing in neighboring rooms. Nonetheless, the location couldn't be better for easy access to beaches, groceries, and walking in the historical center.

What an amazing place! So cute, the private courtyard area keeps it quiet, but it is only a short walk to the historic center. The staff is friendly (even though I don't speak Portuguese!), the wifi is pretty fast, and breakfast is excellent. I spend 4 days here and I wish it was longer!

DO NOT STAY HERE unless you 1) like being bitten by insects / sleeping in insect repellent, 2) have unlimited data on your mobile phone, 3) have a deep love of cats and/or 4) have a complete disregard of your own health and safety. I've written a more thorough review on Google but a special mention to Hotels.com/Expedia for quickly refunding me for this nightmare after providing photographic evidence. Not one member of staff speaks English or understands the concept of Google translate, they'll verbally reply to you in Portuguese (it's a tourist hotspot so not unfair to ask for some to speak basic English). There are cats everywhere even though the hotel has a no pet policy and WiFi doesn't work in any of the rooms. They put this on their own website (if you Google translate it) but have failed to inform all third-party websites that are selling their rooms.

Pousada super aconchegante, limpa e muito encantadora. O café da manhã excepcional. A indicação do passeio do Jipee que não foi agradável. Carro velho, desconfortável e barulhento. Fora isso parabéns à todos.

Localização excelente a poucos passos do centro histórico e conta com comércio popular no entorno. staff muito simpatico, estacionamento amplo. Quartos antigos, ar condicionado antigo mas tudo funcionando super bem. O café da manhã é delicioso. Voltarei com ctz!

Pousada muito perto do centro histórico, apenas em 3 mim ja esta lá, disponibilidade de estacionamento e café da manha foram essenciais para nossa escolha e super atenderam as expectativas, vale muito a pena poucas pousadas tem essas opções de estacionamento e café junto, super bem localizado vale a visita

Ambiente limpo, confortável e muito organizado, com certeza voltarei.

Pousada Fortaleza tem um bom custo-benefício no geral. Entre os pontos positivos, destaco a localização muito próxima do centro histórico de Paraty, o estacionamento gratuito, o café da manhã com bastante variedade e bem gostoso, além dos funcionários simpáticos. Como ponto de melhoria, o banheiro apresentava um cheiro de esgoto (provavelmente retorno), o que incomodou um pouco, e os travesseiros poderiam ser mais confortáveis. No geral, é uma boa opção para quem busca praticidade e um bom custo-benefício na região

Minha experiência foi incrível! Meu quarto era maravilhoso, os colaboradores muito educados, café da manhã excelente, só precisa melhorar os sucos, pois não são naturais. Sobre a conservação é preciso pintar as escadas de madeira, rodapé do quarto, mas são apenas pequenos detalhes. Aa pousada é maravilhosa e perto de tudo e do Centro Histórico. Amei!!!!

Ótima localização. Praticamente no centro histórico. Tem um café da manhã simples mas muito gostoso e com o básico que se precisa. Funcionários prestativos. Quarto, toalhas e roupas de cama limpos. Com ctz voltaremos!

Bem perto do centro de paraty, muito gostoso e confortável. Havia ar-condicionado funcional. E café da manhã muito acima da média.

Ottima la posizione della struttura, in 2 minuti arrivi al centro della città e il personale è gentile. Purtroppo gli aspetti positivi si fermano qua. La stanza faceva una puzza di scarico/fogna/escrementi veramente importante, al punto tale da costringerci a lasciare le finestre aperte tutta la notte. Inoltre questa struttura può andare bene solo ed esclusivamente alle persone molto mattiniere, in quanto alle 5.20 spaccate, ogni mattina, c'erano gli uccelli a dare la sveglia a tutte le camere. Gli infissi sono in legno, non sigillati e per tanto entravano tutti i rumori possibili. Nella stanza non era presente nemmeno un armadio, ma solo un appoggio sopra il frigorifero
