Great pousada! The staff is very friendly, it is very close to city center to out to dinner. Breakfast is very nice. The pousada also has an agency where you can schedule and buy all the attractions that was very reliable

The Pousada facilities were very clean, private, and peaceful. Staff and owners were very friendly and helpful though only one person spoke English. My Brazilian son booked our tours through the hotel agency due to the lack of English speakers. Two out of the three days were great - viewing the macaws, snorkeling the Rio da Prata, and exploring the waterfalls. Breakfast was always available for our early departures and our tours included lunch. Dinner at local restaurants in Bonito were a 15 minute walk away and felt safe. WiFi was best early morning and late night, available in the reception area only, occasionally slow or not available.

Hotel was very nice and convenient to town. One thing was that they did not notify me or advertise that the pool was under construction for an extended period of time. Offered a free excursion but already had bought excursions and did not have the time. Would have been nice to know.

Wonderful staff that go out of their way. But hardly anyone speaks any English - unless you know Portuguese or Spanish, good luck making yourself understood. Rooms are spotless. I got upgraded from a double to a quadruple bedroom. Wifi doesn't seem to work anywhere - in the room or the reception. It's about a 15 min walk to the center of town.

this is a really nice pousada, very well kept up and modern. definitely a step above most pousadas. they were very helpful with booking tours etc. through the affiliated tour agency. great breakfast and afternoon tea. not sure if staff speak English. only downside was that it sometimes seemed that front desk staff were more interested in watching TV than helping guests.

The hotel is really cute. The staff was really nice, polite and helpful. The rooms are big and comfortable. I am recommending it to all of my friends and family. The hotel travel agencie was really helpful and gave spot on advise on places to go according to our interests. My father and I are planning to bring the whole family on another trip and will return to this hotel next year.

Pousada Surucua has its few rooms around a central garden with a small, very clean swimming pool, loungers, garden seating, and, delightfully, hammocks. The neighborhood is a few walkable blocks away from the central street of restaurants and bars. The best feature of the simple decor is the beautiful wooden louvered doors that allow each room to open to the garden. The staff and owners were warm, courteous, and accommodating. The pousada arranges tours to the nearby nature attractions and the staff makes excellent suggestions for activities and dining. Note: The staff do not speak English.

O hotel é incrível. Tudo muito bem cuidado, limpo, preservado. Acordar com som de pássaros é o que qualquer pessoa que fuja dos grandes centros procuram. O atendimento é impecável e o café da manha e da tarde tem bolos maravilhosos.

Nossa estadia foi excelente! Amamos a pousada!!! Funcionários amáveis e prestativos, pousada limpa, ótimo café da manha, café da tarde com bolos, chá e café, mas pra nós a cereja do bolo foi o ambiente...pensa num lugar que exala paz, com muita natureza, harmonia, ótima energia!!! Os únicos sons que ouvíamos eram os pássaros cantando e o som do vento movendo as folhas...e tudo isso dentro da cidade a, poucos minutinhos, de carro, da praça central. Enfim, superou e muito nossas expectativas!!! Certamente vamos voltar!
