One of the best places that you can stay at on the island! Karien and her husband are the perfect hosts that you can dream of , they will provide you with everything you need including breakfast and dinner.They went above and beyond to ensure that we are enjoying our time especially having a 4 yrs old with us. Villa Pedra Mar is an absolute gem of a place. I couldn’t recommend it enough! It’s a beautifully decorated and very well maintained property, run by the friendliest and charming couple. The breakfasts and dinners were plenty and absolutely delicious in a beautiful setting surrounded by ocean and greenery. And we were made to feel so comfortable. Top notch hospitality! Don’t hesitate to book it!

This was one of the most amazing stays ever! This property is super comfortable and has the most stunning views. We can go snorkel right off the adjacent dock or take a tour to dive in one of the many islands surrounding this beautiful one! Food and service was excellent! We will return as soon as we can!

Great Place. Great Hosts. Great Beach. All around a great experience. Riann and Karen were great hosts and the food was excellent. The island itself feels very remote, so if your quest is for a remote island experience that is just a short boat ride from the mainland then this is your place. Not a better place on the island.

Stylish; very personal; only 3 rooms. We stayed in the honeymoon suite (did not know that but husband booked largest room). The view, the tranquillity — nature — were exactly what we wanted after 4 night turbo charged New Year’s Eve celebration at Rio de Janeiro.

Amazing place to stay. The host are wonderful, the snorkeling is great (off of a private jetty 20 feet away from the house), the food is fantastic. If we come back to Brazil, we're definitely visiting this place again.

Spectacular view from the room. The room was clean and their hospitality knew no end to taking care of us. Our dinners and breakfasts were out of this world. Riann says he's no chef but you will question that once you taste his cooking. Karien is like no other; so kind hearted. You could tell they both truly care for there guests; little Daniel as well! We will most definitely be going back but for a longer period of time. Salud

This was the most relaxing vacation I’ve ever had thanks to Vila Pedra Mar. This is absolutely the best place to stay in the island! The owners, Riann and Karien are two of the loveliest people you’ll meet. Their attention to detail, their home cooked breakfasts and dinners, their ability to make you feel so welcome and taken care of are unmatched to anywhere I’ve ever stayed. The snorkeling right in front of the Vila and the beach next door are some of the best on the whole island. If you are lucky enough to visit Ilha Grande, do not look for anywhere else to stay other than VPM. Your stay here will magical, unique and unforgettable.

Divine, beautiful setting with kind and gracious hosts. It was a truly heavenly week we spent at Vila Pedra Mar, being spoilt rotten by excellent service, delicious meals (dinner is included and served on the roof terrace under the stars) and beautiful surroundings. I never wanted to leave. It wasn't our honeymoon - but it sure felt like one in this place. I cannot rate it highly enough!

Fantastic little hotel / villa run by wonderful proprietors, Riann and Karein. Great breakfast and an excellent three-course gourmet dinner included in room rates. Right on the water by a picturesque beach and fishing village. All rooms have great views, comfortable beds and so on. Far from the main town, but can get around using water taxis. Highly recommend.
