Villa dos Corais Pousada

It's a beautiful, well-groomed resort with plenty to do for fun and for relaxation. The wet bar drinks and food was great, the staff very professional, the breakfast spread amazing, the rooms and beds were spa like.

The hotel is nice. A bit distant from downtown, but has free transport each 1 hour from 5 to 11 PM, so it's no problem. Located between 3rd & 4th beaches, which are the best. Wifi is awful: difficult to connect and unavailable at times. Maids throw insecticide in the rooms, which made me very upset. Nice but expensive.

As piscinas de corais em frente ao hotel são fantásticas. O restante Basílio, no hotel, foi o melhor que visitamos na ilha.

The hotel was clean, the service was excellent and the Bobo de camarao was delicious.

Excellent place in a calm area of the island. Food and restaurant are amazing. Felt like a king!

Nice views and room was large. It looks like a little paradise. But the staff are borderline rude and don't seem to know how to cater to guests. Management have implemented a lot of rules for guests to follow but they don't deliver their side of the bargain with a high standard of service. It was very expensive for what they offer. Wifi is very bad and annoying, the pool was dirty. For what they charge they should be ashamed.

This hotel was a frustrating place to stay. On the positive side, it is beautiful, the beach is right in front and the location is quiet, yet close enough to walk to town when you want to. Room is spacious and comfortable. However, they have so many rules to follow and the service is very poor. Despite being the most 'luxurious' hotel on the island, they make you wear a wristband on arrival (like a cheap Spanish party hotel) and also make you sign an inventory list saying you'll pay if you break something (never come across this in my life, felt like a backpackers hostel). Wifi is abysmal, you have to log in about 30 times every day and even then the signal is very poor, despite other properties on the island managing decent service. We asked them to make a dinner reservation for us and they said "we don't do that" despite 4 staff members standing in reception chatting and doing nothing. We asked for a 1 hour later checkout and they refused despite not being full that day and told us "that's the rules". Further, the swimming pool was very dirty and totally cloudy. Despite breakfast offering being decent, it was ruined by hundreds of flies swarming everywhere and them serving every dish on a tiny side plate, seemingly to stop guests from putting too much on the plate. Overall it feels like a missed opportunity. I suggest management visit other hotels and get a clue how to run a hotel that caters to guest needs rather than making up their own stupid rules and low standards.

Beautiful place, very well maintained , clean, food was delicious, staff was very professional and pleasant - perfect. Special acknowledgement goes to Ana a server at the restaurant. Very smiley , polite, professional , just a pleasure to deal with . An improvement note - price of bottled water and other items such as pops, Popsicle were extremely high. I can justify paying this much for something like water! Found some of the restaurant waiters were not as efficient as Ana, maybe get Ana to give them some training :) Love everything so much

Everyone was very kind and attentive from bartenders and waiters to desk clerks. The hotel is beautiful and the beach is spectacular. I really enjoyed my stay and wish I were still there. It is very romantic, but also family friendly. It is at the corner of the beach, and quite separated from town and other hotels. However, at low tide, it is only about a 15 minute walk to town or you can take the regular shuttle into town if you want a change.

I would return and recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel need to renew the exercise room and game room. It doesn't have Cable Tv at room and there is no activities coordination. The waiters attention's was kind of disappointed. They need to do something wit the river that comes from the rainforest; when it is rain or it rained this river grows and carry so unpleasant smell and you have to cross it to access beach number 4. The hotel is nice and big. The garden is beautiful. Breakfast is great but restaurant was disappointed me.

Very unhelpful and unapproachable reception staff, they let the team down, other hotel staff very good and friendly which is a shame as the reception is front line and the first port of call during your vacation.

This is a lovely hotel on a beautiful island. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful and attentive. The hotel itself is located in a nice tranquil area so perfect for rest and relaxation. Our villa was spacious and very comfortable. The bed is covered by mosquito nets all through which was great. I strongly advise you bring along insect repellant and insecticide though. It was a MUST to thoroughly spray the room with insecticide on the first night. Overall we will definitely be back in Morro and will probably come to this resort again.

Ican not say enough positiv remarks about this lovely resort..Has to be the best on the Island...And several staff members where also capeable of speaking English ,which was very helpful for us. And an extra + to the manager for unlimited kindness The rooms where very delicate and with great space.

Pousada com estrutura excelente, e com equipe maravilhosa. Nota 10!

Twee plekken gehad in Morro, kunnen vergelijken (met Villa dos Orixas). Vila dos Corais: mooiere, grotere kamers. Lekker Groot bed. Mooi terrein. Veel muggen in kamer. Neem vliegenmepper mee! Goed ontbijt. Op 10 minuten lopen van Morro, fijn om daar ‘‘s avonds te kunnen eten. Keurige shuttle vanaf 2e strand. Aandacht voor details mist, lijkt gevolg van te weinig aandacht management voor opleiding medewerkers. Dienstverlening hierdoor slordig en niet klantgericht. Hotel heeft veel potentie, komt er zo niet uit. Voorbeelden: 1) wifi werkte niet in kamers. Na aandringen na twee dagen verholpen. Geen updates van receptie, steeds zelf om gevraagd. 2) Lunch, drie tafel bezet, simpele bestelling, duurt toch. een uur (!) Idem andere gasten. 3) 2 caipirinhas bij zwembad: 20 minuten! 4) kussens loungers komen pas om 9:30u, eerste gasten zijn er al om 8:30u. 5) Strandlakens op om 9:30 uur, zorg voor voorraad! 6) Laat ontbijt, moeten zelf om bestek vragen, terwijl personeel staat te niksen. 7) Het heeft geregend, toch worden loungers en terrasstoelen niet afgedroogd. 8) Klamboes, fijn, maar omsluiten bed niet geheel. Er wordt vrijwel geen Engels gesproken, alleen Portugees. Vertaalapps helpen, maar bemoeilijkt communiceren wel. Conclusie: hotel met veel meer potentieel. Vraagt om aandacht management en training personeel, anders komt dat er niet uit.

Excelente estadia, tudo muito bem cuidado, limpo, cheiroso. Viajei com minha filha adolescente, mas recomendo altamente para casais. O lugar é belíssimo e muito aconhegante. Atendimento excepcional, sempre com muito cuidado e esmero. Café da manhã muito diversificado, muito organizado e delicioso com excelentes opçoes para todos os gostos.
