We stayed at this very nicely furnished hotel for two nights in August. It is located near a nice park a bit further away from the historic center. However the center was easily and very cheaply accessible by cab. The hotel personal was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was rather simple but was fine for us. All in all it was a great hotel for our stay.

The hotel building is also private apartment complex and the nearby dog park/outdoor gym area brings the lower class of people to the area. I had to keep a close watch on my motorcycle all night because people were walking around to steal it. If you need parking I would not recommend this hotel, the yuoungsters in the privat apartments trow glas beer bottles down from 7th floor in to cars. The hotel need a safer parking area and also a securityguard to keep an eye on the property.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they let us check in right away. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast. It was definitely adequate. It was about a 35 minute walk to the center of the city but we preferred that rather than being in the city center. Not many restaurants in the area though.

Staff were super nice and helpful. Coffee bar guy was also very friendly. The Plovdiv Plaza mall is close enough to walk to and there is a family entertainment center across the street. Room was pretty good, no complaints. Room cleaners were very fast and did a great job. Zero complaints about this place. Next time I might stay closer to old town center but otherwise I would recommend this hotel.

Overall clean rooms and polite staff, just lacking in the fine details of a really first class hotel. A bit " too Bulgarian" with the staff asking lots of personal questions and not getting a sense of privacy and security. Also even though it says there is WiFi in the room- there is WiFi in the hallway, but not in my room- had to go down to the lobby to work on my laptop.

Plovdiv is justly famous for its archaeological treasures. You are walking along a contemporary street, look down, and there are Roman crumbling walls beneath your feet. Funnily enough Park Hotel Plovdiv is a bit like that. It looks from the outside a bit like a castle - constructed out of ice cream and candy. Inside, it's a bit dowdy. Getting from the outside to the inside can present a problem though. The owners never bothered to pave the perimeter and they apparently imagine that all their customers will arrive in giant SUVs. This does present a challenge squeezing between the wing mirrors with your luggage. The front desk staff are fabulous. Excellent English, very attentive, very eager to assist the foreign guest in whatever way they can. They should be working in a five-star hotel. What I cannot understand is why the owners hired such excellent and well-trained staff but failed to include amenities for foreign guests like a single English-language channel on TV (like CNN or BBC). Which brings us to the rooms. Comfortable but poorly designed. Word of advice: remove the toilet rolls before you have a shower - they will get soaked. The hotel is right next to the Go-cart track. Thankfully noise pollution abates after 11 at the weekend (10 during weekdays) Ah, the breakfast. When the restaurant is busy in the morning, it's buffet. When they're not busy, it's Soviet tickets and one-size-fits-all. Hard for someone who won't eat meat. The restaurant was recommended but.

Hotel was busy staff seemed to be struggling to cope. A hotel of that service should have a restraunt and room service meals. Staff tried really hard but seemed like management didn't have a clue. A bit out of the way from the main part of town but only small taxi fee or a good walk.
