Botoum Hotel

This is a low cost 3 star hotel. It was very clean and quiet. They provided us a hot pot and some coffee, a refrigerator in the room and a hair dryer. This was our second time to stay here. We will probably come back. We have no complaints.

Nice budget hotel

A nice inexpensive hotel. The room was clean and orderly. The hotel itself is located right at major intersection with highway 6, which makes it convenient to get in and out of town. The Phnom Svay Restaurant is around the corner serving good reasonable food, and Phnom Svay itself is close by for a walk around and explore session. A few short blocks to the southeast is the major central market area which has anything you’d need. Good place for a short stay, definitely.

I really thought that the staff was super friendly and I felt safe. The WiFi was great but I have to be honest. The hotel did not look like the pictures and maybe it’s because I’m a foreigner but I’ll never get used to a bathroom that doubles as a shower where EVERYTHING gets wet when you take a shower, and I mean everything, so you’re walking in water for the rest of the day whenever you need to use the toilet or wash your hands. No hot water and no toilet paper.

It is a nice hotel. Staff are a bit business- like and not very caring! My friend who shared the room with me ( nearly 70 years old) was asked to wait in the outdoor foyer area (40 degree day) until I arrived- because the booking was in my name! She waited outside more than 1hour!! This matter could have been resolved very easily by doing an ID CHECK on me! The staff needed to show more human kindness- which they failed to do! It was transactional service!

Everything was great except the wifi. The wifi was horrible

Simple easy lodging, traditional khmer atmosphere with surrounding areas worth a visit for a day or two , i would recommend for a visit if traveling from thailand through to siem reap/ phnom phen.

Sisophon is a great place to visit ancient ruins that you can really explore without the crowds that you see at Angkor Wat. The hotel was ok but the greeting at the reception is a bit aggressive and her prices for a taxi to the ruins and laundry is more expensive than other touristy places. However, you don't need to spend more than 1 or 2 nights there.

There's not a huge choice in Serey Sophorn so we were pleased to find the Botoum, check in was pretty functional, and we never worked out whether there was any in hotel dining, but the room was very clean and comfortable, as are the common areas. The cleaning staff were very friendly and happy, which I think shows in the general appearance.

I asked the hotel a taxi,but the taxi fare was different.

Es war ein angenehmer Aufenthalt in einer tollen Stadt. Vielen, vielen Dank für den fantastischen Service! Das Personal half beim Organisieren einer Tour, beim Kauf einer SIM Karte oder auch beim Buchen des Busses zur Weiterreise. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: die Dusche war durchgehend kalt. Bei einem kleinen Guesthouse eher zu erwarten, bei einem Hotel dieser Größe sollte das nicht so sein.

Très bon accueil. Grande chambre propre et confortable, très bonne literie. Bon service annexe.

peu d’hôtel à Sisophon et donc le choix reste limité. aucun par exemple avec une piscine pour se rafraichir un peu. malgré tout cet hôtel est très correct pour un tarif très raisonnable. un seul bémol: pas à notre connaissance de petit déjeuner qu'il faut prendre en ville dans un des nombreux restaurants. la ville est intéressante à découvrir !

Guter Standort für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Sehr hilfsbereits Personal. Gutes Frühstück gegen geringen Aufpreis.
