What a friendly host. They accommodated my dietary needs in the best way. Hang out to talk to host as it is a very personal stay, if you are looking for connection. You can walk downtown within a bit over half an hour along Rideau Canal. A lovely walk

Our hosts were superb. Shown to room where slices of freshly baked apple pie greeted us. Breakfast was quite the affair what with a berry comporte, and asparagus, mushroom omelet, well presented and served Four poster bed with comforter was a delight Slept like a lamb. Bathroom is tiny. Room was cool, as steam boiler radiators were slow in transmitting heat. Used in-wall heater to warm bedroom.
