We have stayed at a few different places in Montreal. This place is by far a great wee spot to stay. Great access to to the Domes, and if you must, downtown. When they say parking is available, it is, however street FREE parking and was quite reasonable, considering the fact all of Montreal is shark bait to their open spots. Do not let that hinder your spirits. We had no issues Monday to Friday. The staff is amazing, the building and area is safe. It is an older building, so rooms are not sound proof, but We had fun. With a continental breakfast (which is great and just what we needed to start the day), parking, amazing staff, I am so very happy we stayed for the week. If you need anything, kindly ask the front desk staff. They will see what they can do! Thank You!

Great building with history; lovely display in the lobby; rooms with character; clean, quiet. Rich breakfast and excellent service altogether. Would definitely go back.

It is an old building at the far end of St. Catherine St. According to the information posted it has served as a post office among other things. The lady who owns it was very attentive over the phone. We were arriving late and she called to ensure we had entry codes for the keypad locks and again to ensure we got in. Aside from a housekeeping staff member and the person running the breakfast that was the only contact we had with their team. We never saw anyone on the front desk. The room was clean. Nothing fancy but more than adequate. I do believe the breakfast needs a little work. No juice, only juice boxes, for some reason no forks, no egg options. I ate there-coffee was very good, but my son saw nothing he was interested in. It’s not bad but one can always do better. My ONLY real complaint about the property is the parking. It has about 6 spots, without painted lines, around the front of the building. We were told that on street parking, on the hôtel side of St. Catherine, was not permitted. On the opposite side was good. So, I did. There were signs up saying cars had to be moved by 7:30 a.m. I got up and moved the vehicle to the street that sort of runs parallel to the hotel on the hotel side. That’s where I parked for most of the stay. No signs threatening tickets or towing on that street. Clarity on the parking situation is needed. Two days in Montreal cost us well over $200 in parking. Therefore, I didn’t want a ticket or an impound/tow fee.

Overall satisfying stay. Staff was very helpful in their attempts at making our stay comfortable. We had issues with the AC machine making loud noises when staying on the top floor. After a few nights, we were moved to the lower floor which has central AC. Breakfast was good, but minimal options--mainly bread/bagels/croissants with some yogurt/milk. Fresh fruit would have been nice. Location in close proximity to bike rentals, so we could easily bike to old Montreal or take a short Uber ride.

Pros: People at reception were the sweetest, very polite, very helpful. Nice area to stay in if you want to explore both - suburban and urban areas of Montreal. 15 min walk from beautiful area at Ontario St East. Go to Tacos Tin Tan Hochelaga, they are amazing. Very convenient to use a code to access the room instead Cons:
