Camrose LeChateau Hotel

We frequently stay at LeChateau when in Camrose. Rooms are recently redone, not carpet...other then in hallways. Staff always friendly

Excellent value for the price. Very clean and over rooms than expected. Friendly staff simple check in Simple yes but very very clean. Will definately stay again

Great value for money. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, all the basics. Older building with a great alternative stair access with lots of character for those not requiring the elevator.

Bathroom smells like cigarette smoke, lobby and stairs are super worn down and NO hot water

Clean room, friendly staff. Slept well. Not sure if they are in charge of the parking lot or not though, but it had not been cleaned so was very slippery. But since I don’t know if they are in charge of maintenance of it I won’t deduct stars. Oh and the host cat was cute, 10 out of 10 for pets

Was staying late in town after a charity casino and booked a room. The single queen room was large and clean. The hotel is a bit dated but rooms were refreshed and comfortable, bathroom on the smaller side but worked fine, and bed was comfortable. Though I didn't use them for my stay, I was surprised to see a large bar fridge and a microwave, and of course the standard coffee maker. Vending machines were available and a restaurant/bar attached on main level, with McDonald's a quick walk across the parking lot. Friendly front desk staff and loved meeting Ghost, the friendly hotel cat. Ample parking and there is an elevator for those who need one. Great stay at a fantastic price if you are aren't fussed about having simpler amenities and decor. Would absolutely recommend and return.

Front desk was incredibly courteous and helpful, room was clean and quiet! Great stay all around.

Staff had a catbin lobby on dirty old couches, hotel hallways were grosss. People smoking weed in the lobby when i arrived back

My stay was wonderful as the rooms wer clean staff where friendly! I enjoyed my stay here! However i would recommend not ever booking through EXPEDIA When i booked a room for the 8th and to check out on the 9th EXPEDIA booked me for the 9 th and to checkout on the 10th This is not the first or even the second time that this has happened to me while using EXPEDIA Not even the 3rd or 4th but the 5th time ! I spoke to the front desk attend about my situation and the lady at the front explained that this happens ofyen with them . They front desk told me not to worry and booked me in for the 8th. As planned On the 9th EXPEDIA was made aware of what happened. What EXPEDIA did not know is I had spoke to front desk at le chateau, and they confirmed that they would not charge me for the stay on the 9th. EXPEDIA emailed me this morning stating that they could not get a hold of the property.And that I had been charged for a room that I didn't even stay in. THEY LIED TO ME !!! SMH IS THIS REALLY HOW EXPEDIA CONDUCTS BUISSNESS??? THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES AND REPORTED TO THE BETTER BUISSNESS BEAURE. I WILL NOT BE TREATED WITH THIS TYPE OF SO CALLED RESPECT 🙄 AND I AM GOUNG TO MAKE SURE PPL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TYPE OF BUISSNESS EXPEDIA CONDCTS

Friendly staff greeting right away as I walk in plus the lovely cat who adds charm.

For the price, it's an okay hotel. Wasn't expecting much, and just needed it to sleep in for a few nights. The hot water doesn't work in the evening, and when we came to our room housekeeping only made our beds.. that's it. We had a bunch of dirty and wet towels that were just left on the ground and not replaced which wasn't great. The handle on the bathroom cabinet was broken and hanging off, and the toilet paper roll was barely hanging onto the wall. The soundproofing isn't good, we were up past midnight from some people partying in rooms and running down the hall. Again though, for the price it was what I was expecting. Not a bad room for how cheap it is.

Front desk person was friendly and didn’t mind making small talk about ghost. Loved seeing a cat in the building! Rooms were spacious and beds comfy. Would stay again, but it was no frills.
